2005: The North Carolina Tar Heels led by a group of players who decided to return to bring home a national championship, faced the Big 10 champion in a midwestern city after defeating Villanova. Also, later that fall, the Appalachian State football team, led by a returning record-setting senior quarterback, went on to win the first of 3 straight national titles.

Sounds good to me Appa, glad to see the Heels win...now, is it football season yet?

However, once again, the state of North Carolina proves itself to be the epicenter of all things sports-related..... 8-)
