Rays 2013 Road to.......Tampa????
Rays start the season 4-5 (lost series to O's and Rangers, won series against Indians). As usual the main discussion is attendance and stadium location.

Looking at what a new stadium did for the Marlins, I question what one would actually do for attendance here in the Tampa Bay area. There is just not enough local team loyalty here - everyone is from somewhere else and most still root for the teams from their hometowns.
That being said, one of the new stadium proposals would have them building a park here in Carillon where I work. That would actually be pretty cool and would at least get me out to a lot more games.

to me that is the only place the stadium should go, personally I don't really have a huge problem with the Trop (except the drive from Largo, which isn't too bad but still)SunCoastBlueHen wrote:Looking at what a new stadium did for the Marlins, I question what one would actually do for attendance here in the Tampa Bay area.
