Sitting in the San Antonio airport this afternoon on my way to Portland for a conference. Some jackass sitting across from me wearing a Montana State Boobcats t-shirt. I hollered "poor bobscats" at him twice, but he didn't respond.

Actually, once he finished emptying the garbage cans, we talked for a minute. As a bobscat grad, he was just happy to have a job, and glad that I actually knew where Bozoland was.

Saw an oldtimer and his wife both decked out in South Dakota State gear at the nursery while buying trees. I was wearing a Northern Iowa football tee under a Western Michigan pullover windbreaker, all under a Northern Illinois hat. Mama Cat was in her Griz medical scrubs wearing a Georgia Tech "Buzz" cap.
Walking through my daughter's new high school in San Antonio yesterday afternoon (Ronald Reagan High School, BTW... ) and saw a girl wearing a Harvard hoodie.

Saw an overweight white-trashy looking woman at a garage sale in Loveland today that had a Montana State bobcat jacket on. Then later today I saw a dude wearing an NDSU jacket at King Soopers grocery store.
Me and a friend (who's originally from Thompson Falls MT and roots for the Griz) were walking downtown Spokompton yesterday and saw a guy wearing a bobcat shirt. We both laughed.
My kids middle school has several tv monitors in the common room that display rotating facts and trivia about area universities. One of trivia questions was which two schools have one of the oldest rivalry games in college football? This type of infiltration this close to home just ain't right.
The answer dispalys a giant UM logo and only mentions MSU in the script.
