Nope, I needed to keep my job.

Not that they would lose their jobs in the military if they booed him, but in my case I wanted to keep my job.

Well, I think UNI88 mentioned it, but yet I'm not shocked they cheered at all. And, not completely because he's the CIC. It's because he has promised a time-table and that combat troops will be coming home--there's an end in sight (we'll see if he keeps his word, I hope he does). If I were them, I'd be cheering too.
