Back in 2009, Gary "Baba Booey" Dell'Abate threw out what was then described as the worst ceremonial first pitch ever at a Mets game. It went high and to his right, practically beaning the umpire.
Then there's THIS. Carly Rae Jepsen ("Call Me Maybe"), at a recent Devil Rays game, threw it straight down, and it took a crazy hop toward the first base dugout. This raised questions because not only had she been "throwing strikes" (in the words of the commentator) during warmups, she threw a perfectly acceptable first pitch at an Orioles game back in April. She's pretty cute while she's doing it, though....

I have taught all my daughters how to properly throw a football, but their cousins and friends can't.
From what I saw CRJ palmed the ball and forgot to let go in time, it was a horrible attempt. And yes she threw a strike at an O's game.
Also, her CD makes you contemplate suicide.
