I know many of you don't like pro wrestling, but alcoholism is a demon many in that industry have to deal with, just as in the realm of "real" sports. Whatever the case, if one finds oneself fighting this dreaded disease, having a friend like this is a HUGE help....

Battling Alcoholism

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

It would seem Diamond Dallas is a better friend than Jack Daniels.

Alcohol's a destructive drug but what are you going to do when it's the only recreational drug that's legal?
The culture needs to get over itself, get out of the puritanical mentality holding that there's something wrong with wanting to get high, and give the pharmaceutical companies the "all clear" to develop recreational drugs that accomplish the objective while minimizing the damage.
In the meantime get completely out of the business of having government tell people they can't do whatever drug they want. Get rid of the DEA. Get rid of the concept of "controlled substances." Get rid of the concept of having to have a prescription to buy a drug. Just leave people alone.

Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

I'm more in the process of accepting alcoholism than battling it.

Battling Alcoholism is not something to post when the App St./Montana game is near. Alcoholism is a norm and then some during that 10 days....
