On the other hand, our Newark team reached the U.S semi-finals as an undefeated team, but lost a 5-4 heartbreaker (and had the tying run caught in a run down between third and home) of the Cal Ripken Major/70 World Series.

Same age group, and they draw players from the same approximate 15 mile radius.

Not a bad showing for Newark, DE having two separate teams from the same age group in two World Series championships. :notworthy:
These signatures have a 500 character limit?

What if I have more personalities than that?

Technically, yes...the two town centers are 9.5 miles apart. Close enough to adopt them as a Newark area team.

Piedmont's boundary goes to Pleasant Hill Road while Newark's goes to North Star Road, so there is overlap in their recruiting areas.

Is that right? Newark has two leagues that are in different organizations?
I have never heard of that before. My hometown in NJ has two leagues but both are in the Little League system.

My son plays in the Cal Ripken organization and made it to the final 4 of the 10 year old SE Regionals this year. This team, if they stay together for the next 2 years, has a chance to get to the 12 year old World Series.

Newark is a baseball hotbed no doubt. Lacrosse never really has gripped that part of the state. There are 2 little leagues for the town of Newark itself, the Cal Ripken league Cluck mentioned is a few miles away in a neighboring town & then there are loads of travel baseball options. All the kids that played for Newark National are probably involved in travel baseball as well.
