He was caught on video at a Kenny Chesney concert using a racial slur that definitely will get him into some real trouble.

He saw a man choking in Jacksonville with his God-like vision. Wanted to help him.

Way too big a deal is made out of racial slurs. Seriously.

Nothing can be done about it. But it really IS way over the top. So he said "nigger." Big deal.

I think you guys are missing the point. It wasn't that he said it - it was in the manner that he said it - he was mad that a black security guard refused to let him back stage - he threat was in anger, while he was drunk. Racism IS a big deal, still. This is why Cooper is in trouble.

Give Chip Kelly credit for taking every advantage the rules allow.

The Eagles' practices have been conducted all camp with loud music blaring the entire practice. Well they say you play like you practice right. Last night the media started to catch on that as the Eagles lined up at the Linc the same loud music was blaring throughout the stadium. The NFL rule allows music to be played in the stadium until the play clock reaches 20 seconds. Well, if you've ever watched a Chip Kelly offense they rarely snap the ball with under 20 seconds on the play clock. So, not only is the defense scrambling to get in position with the up-tempo no-huddle offense, they have music blaring making it more difficult to communicate.

Well played Chip. :thumb: :thumb: :notworthy: :notworthy:

Watched the eagles play Jacksonville some yesterday. If Philly can find a way to score once they get into the red zone I think they'll have a good offense. A good power runner for them is needed for those situations.

BTW, if GannonFan is reading this I'm curious as to what he thinks about all of this. If I'm not mistaken he has said before that this type of stuff won't work in the NFL.

Huh? What did I say? You've got to come with some proof if you're going to throw out stuff like that. I'm not even sure what "type of stuff" you're referring to.

Still think, especially after watching the Jax game, that Vick just sees the pressure too much, even when he's not really under pressure. Certainly an outcome of getting drilled a lot when the O-line really was bad, but he gets too antzy even when the pressure isn't there. Just makes too many bad decisions to think the Birds will be successful with him.

The OL played poorly on Saturday night. That continues & you'll see Foles in there because Vick will get killed. It's all good as Tajh Boyd is our 2014 starter. :thumb: :thumb: :kisswink:

Tajh Boyd? He's a bad pro prospect. Nice size, nice athlete but his throwing is atrocious. Also a product of the Clemson system and wideouts being insanely good. I know he's well thought-of, but I really do not care for his style of play.

If you're looking at QBs for the draft, I think I prefer Logan Thomas or Kevin Hogan (if Hogan goes pro- he won't, most likely). Chip would appear to prefer a more mobile type. IDK, maybe he likes Barkley.

Logan Thomas has a lot more upside. He just has no help at Va Tech. :twocents:

This Eagles secondary is horrific. Blown coverage after blown coverage all day. The only time they stay close is when they hold or interfere, and the refs haven't missed those.

Embarrassing.
