Of course! Everyone knows who he is. The Mighty 1090.

He won't be picked up within a week and it won't be by the Pats. He was 11-30 in the 3 games. He had 2 TDs and 2 interceptions.

He should go to the CFL or become a TE or RB.
CFL qb's have to be able to throw....the league is more throwing than the NFL, but not quite the AFL

Anybody got the number of sacks he took?

The so-called "experts" said the same thing about Jim Plunkett after he washed out of a no-cut/no-trade deal with New England AND a last-ditch attempt with San Francisco. Fortunately, Al was famous for resurrecting players on their last legs, and Plunkett took the Raiders to two SB wins.

I wouldn't be surprised if the same sort of thing happened with Tebow....

You failed to mention that Plunkett got that job after riding the bench and after Pastorini suffered an injury. He wasn't thrown into the game for his skill.

Tim Tebow only played quarterback after joining the New England Patriots, despite expectations he could take snaps at tight end. Tebow doesn't plan to try out any other positions any time soon.

TheMMQB.com's Peter King reported Thursday night on NBC that Tebow received an "inquiry" from an NFL team about possibly trying another position, but Tebow wasn't interested. Tebow reportedly also received some interest from USA Rugby in changing sports. That's not happening.

It's hard to knock Tebow for his unwillingness to change positions. He hasn't made it at quarterback, and there's little reason to think he could succeed at another spot. Tebow tipped his intentions after the Patriots released him when he wrote on Twitter: "I will remain in relentless pursuit of continuing my lifelong dream of being an NFL quarterback."

Perhaps another team will let Tebow take a shot at pursuing that dream next offseason when rosters expand to 90 men again. It's hard to imagine him getting a job at quarterback in the meantime.

Timmy should be read his bible more closely and practice some humility. Let's see, make $0 as you'll never be a NFL QB or make +$250,000 as a NFL ANYTHING.

To be accurate, Mark, that only applies to the FIRST Super Bowl with the Raiders. Dan Pastorini's broken leg essentially turned him into Wally Pipp. But for Plunkett, there was never any of this nonsense about changing position. Between the Super Bowls, there were whispers that he was done, yet he pulled it off again.

I said nothing wrong. Tebow is not a NFL QB. I understand its difficult to accept the fact, but if he wants to stay in the NFL he will need to change positions.

It's fact. Plunkett didn't come in until the other guy fractured his leg.

Fact: Tebow has been shuffled around to 3 different teams and is not a starting or back up QB. Teams want him to change position, but he's too proud or stubborn to do so.

Your opinion that he's Jesus Christ is just that, an opinion. It's an established fact that right now, he is not a NFL caliber player.

Why, do you like him so much? Is it because of his religion? Surely it can't be b/c of his college career. You routinely mock and voice your hatred of the FBS.

If lil' timmy really was Jesus Christ he would have some sort of humility and accept the fact that he isn't Peyton Manning.

An AFL team has offered him a three year contract, probably around 500K...

...and he's not taking it.

Most players of his talent level never even get a chance at such a contract, and most anyone in the nation would kill to make that much for doing something they love (and the AFL is a good league).

Most football players aren't NFL-caliber and there's no shame in it. Tebow needs a serious reality check.

Actually, it is an established fact. Tebow is not on an NFL roster right now. Maybe he will get lucky and the Jaguars will sign him, but even then, he still won't be on an NFL roster.

Yeah...we are solidly into week 2 and I've drawn as much interest from NFL teams as Tim Tebow

His best career move would be to accept reality. ESPN college football analyst Lee Corso summed it up best: “Tebow's got a great future outside football. He's got more important things to do than screw around with the NFL.”

And the NFL has better things to do than screw around with Tebow. For the millionth time, he's a great guy with a stirring story — but if you still believe all Tebow needs is a fair shake, I have some property near Chernobyl I'd like to sell you.

Seriously, if Tebow can't make it with the Patriots, where can he make it? Shoot, the LIONS don't want thim.
