he was extremely over hyped to begin with.

He let the hype go to his head.

He clearly didn't work that hard to be in shape at the start of the season.

He didn't put the work into getting better

He honestly looks like he's taken 7 steps back from last season

Lazy might be a little strong of a word...but...yes

Watch a lot of SC film. He has tremendous highlights one to three times per game. However, he likes to not give full effort unless the play is right at him or unless he beats his man on his first move.

Rarely have I seen him make plays if he had to make more than 1 move to get past a guy

He isn't consistent. He had one good play on Saturday, when he sacked Murray, and that was it.

Yeah... 1 to 3 plays per game.

Like I've said before - everyone talks about how he dominated Michigan.....2 tackles. TWO...

Yet he got player of the game and 9 months of hype because of 1 hit he put on a 5'8 running back who was on his way to the ground.

He'll be lucky to have the career that Peppers had. Shit, I don't even think he'll have Mario Williams's career.

Saw a tweet somewhere that said UGA had more yards per play when he was on the field than when he was off. The guy is undoubtedly first-rounder but he's overrated and is only famous because of a hit from a bowl game last year where he went through the line practically untouched.

The hype went to his, and his entire, teams head.

You can see his teammates waiting for him to make the play, at the same time you see him quit 98 percent of the time.

If he was white you'd hear complaints that he isn't high motor all of the time

Well they REALLY need to start making plays now....Clowney need foot surgery and is using the pain from "bone spurs" as an excuse for taking plays off since, in his words, "it only hurts when I play"...

He reminds me of Randy Moss on defense one or two plays a game can decide if his team wins or not.

He has officially mailed it in, and the team has given up on him.

Only 18 sacks short of his goal...

Sitting out of practices when he didn't want to practice, now is deciding on his own to sit out of games, when he does play he is out of shape and doesn't try.

Waste of a human being right now

Hell no.

He's a giant baby right now.

He pulled himself out of camp, he showed up extremely out of shape (and still isn't in it 6 weeks into the regular season), he is pulling himself out of games even after he practiced just minutes before the game, he is bitching he has to be there, his stats this year suck - 12 tackles and 2 sacks - he quits on 95% of plays in the game.

He has shown he has no heart if things are going 100% his way. While he has tremendous athleticism, he is a giant flake.

Oakland would take him, that's what they do.
