Yeah, sorry that I assumed it was one of the bandwagon teams in your region (Green Bay). So it's safe to assume you'll be jumping on the Hawks bandwagon once we win a superbowl and have more HoFers than your current favorite team?

At the rate your team is going (1 HoFer every 20 years), it will take them at least another 200 years to even be within sniffing distance of my team's current number of Hall of Famers. Your Super Bowl rate will take even longer.... And my team has taken a painfully long sabbatical from the Super Bowl...though they did have their chances over the last 20 years.)

I'll never cheer for a team that you like (what an embarrassment) or a team with fans that think they are the "real" 12th Man. That honor will always belong to Texas A&M. They invented, it's "theirs" as far as I am concerned. Suddenly some bottom-of-the-barrel (I'm talking historically) pro team builds a ridiculous stadium to amplify crowd noise and THEY get to blatantly steal it from Texas A&M? I realize that college football isn't quite as big in the Pacific NW as it is in Texas, but come on. Have some perspective. Are people in Washington really that provincial and nearsighted? (I realize it's not patented but it's just pathetic. )

Furthermore, I will NEVER cheer for a team with a bunch of wannabe Muhammad Alis or wannabe Fab Fives like Richard Sherman who should be SUSPENDED right now. Adderall, my ass. The guy is a trash-talking, petulant scumbag and would barely be the #2 cornerback on my favorite professional football team. I only wish there was a WR who had the balls to cut his knees out when Sherman helps in run support. Just to teach him some respect. It's obviously clear by how he treats his opponents and former coaches that the guy has not one ounce of respect for anyone else in the league.

I had a lost of respect for the Seahawks under Mike Holmgren when they had Alexander and Hasselbeck and Lofa Tatupu, etc. I loved Joey Galloway as a kid. And I really do like a lot of their current guys. I like Russell Wilson. I like Wagner. I like Earl Thomas. But guys like Sherman piss me off. I would try to end that guy's career every time I played against him if I played in the NFL.

Nope, not the Raiders. I don't hate Seattle. Just this year's crop. If you weren't so arrogant about a team that hasn't won a Super Bowl, I wouldn't be nearly as sick and tired of them as I currently am. One more thing- if you're so bothered by violence and dirty play, don't watch football. Spare us all the pain of listening to you ramble on about it. In any case, I'm only advocating dirty play towards Richard Sherman. The only people that would miss him from the NFL are Seachickens fans. Nobody else would give a rip. Raiders fans aren't the only ones who like seeing a team use any means necessary to intimidate their opponents.

The 49ers and Griz are easily and far-away my favorite sports teams, and it's often hard to know which one I actually like more (especially when both are good, like right now), so maybe the way you view your NFL team is the same way I view my favorite NHL team (It's Detroit, but I honestly don't pay that much attention).

Either way, SE is pretty harmless (and a douchebag, but that's besides the point), so I guess I don't see the point in the runaround about who your team is. Plus, it's way more fun to play along because you actually have ammo and get to rub it in his face when your college team beats his, and then your NFL team gets revenge in December.

There's nothing wrong with violence in football as long as it's within the rules. Hell, that's part of why I love this current Seahawks team; they're one of the most physical, break-your-will teams in the league. But to advocate dirty play or wish for an injury to a guy simply because he talks shit and backs it up... that's chicken shit, cowardice douchebaggery.
