I'm hoping the team applied anal lube before they got off the plane.

I can admit when i'm wrong, and I was way off the mark on this one. Maine just handed us our ass today, they are just better than my hens this year. I would have bet my house and every thing in it that maine would never be able to put up 62 points on us. Simply embarrasing no other way to say it. Congrats to the black bears, and I guess someone will have to remind the blue hens that we have to play half our games on the road, so maybe they might show up ready to play next time around. 113-35 in two road games is'nt going to get it done, period.

I think the CAA is very tough, at least the top 6 teams or so, top heavy much like the big sky and the MVC. A murderers row in all three conferences, very few easy weeks anywhere.

The Big Fluffy Sky is nothing...hell they might, MIGHT, be a top 5 team...maybe ;)

As mediocre as we are, we're still a playoff candidate in this watered down FCS with the massive playoff field.

There is a 64 team playoff this year, right? I can already hear San Diego bitching about how they didn't get a bid...

Correction...62-28.

The #ATTACK on our senses continues.

Weaver is pathetic...just as advertised. We got exactly what his resume said we'd get.

On O, Maine ran it 48 times and passed 27 times.

UD ran it 44 times and passed it only 23 times...when we trailed all day.

Somebody should tell Brock that he can start his #ATTACK any time now. :suspicious:

BTW, what was the purpose of keeping Sasek on the bench? :?

This wasn't a joke. Water Main is a legit Top 10 team.

Delaware has played two very good teams on the road in Navy and Maine and gotten curb stomped until toothless both times.

Maine 35, Bryant (3-2) 22
Maine 23, Norfolk St (2-3) 6
Maine 28, UR (2-3) 21
Maine 62, UD 28..

I recorded the game but haven't had a chance to watch it yet. WTF happened? I know Maine is good, but they're not THAT good, as indicated by their wins over the other I-AA they've played.

After Maine went up 14-0, we fumbled the kickoff which was returned for a TD. Then they kicked off again and Hurley threw a pick six. 27-2 before you could blink. In addition, the defense never got off the plane.

Waiti a minute, are you saying the defense actually took the flight? I saw no evidence that they were even in the state.

The only state our defense was in was in a state of confusion.

Thanks, Weaver.
