Yes, I'm surprised Fordham is in the Top 10 because I would not have guessed that they would play as well as they have. Is this really that hard to understand?Cluck U wrote: You just said that you find it hard to believe Fordham is in the top 10, and then followed that by saying they won when they were supposed to.

Fordham is not playing as well as their record indicates. It wasn't a "good" loss for nova. Lol. All you can do is knock down Nova. Keep ignoring the lackluster season Delaware has been having. Nice last second field goal against Albany by the way! Albany must be a real powerhouse to give the 3rd best team in the CAA a good run at their own stadium.Cluck U wrote: Fordham is not playing as well as their record indicates. These next two weeks against W&M and Nova will show how good they really are. It's early in the season, but I still think they're over-rated. (Personally I think W&M is the dark horse of the CAA right now. Not JMU, UD, or Richmond.)BDKJMU wrote: Barely my a**. Were up 38-16 with 11 min left in the 4th. And need I remind you that Maine also beat UR by only 7 (along with NC State by only 2). Mark my words, UR will upset one of the 3 remaining top 6 that they play (UD, TU, W&M).
Oh boy, now you're claiming Towson is not a signature win? As far as "clown football" is considered, you must run the circus with this crap. Beating a Top10 team isn't a signature win? Please tell me what win Delaware has that can be called signature, and make you rank them above Nova? (Hint: There are none.) If Delaware beat Towson in the same fashion Nova did, you would be praising the almighty UD and their huge signature win. I can't wait until Terrance West tears Delaware apart. (He will)Cluck U wrote:Holy smokes, nova gets a gift win from an undisciplined Towson team and suddenly their two or three bandwagon fans crawl out of their basements and start posting big boy talk on a message board!
Anyone that counts Towson as signature win is really in the pits. Towson simply doesn't have a signature win in the history of their program (we do thank them for producing andy, but that's another story) and they don't know how to win big games. And a loss to a "pretty strong" (not even a firm strong...just "pretty strong") Fordham team...what is it with you guys...you can't beat Patriot teams anymore. PATRIOT TEAMS! That's clown football right there.
Speaking of clown football, nova turns over the ball at a rate far faster than anyone can give away their tickets for a game at their high school stadium. Even your own team is embarrassed to play at that facility, so they schedule games at glorious Chester by the river. Is that some type of community outreach program for you guys?
The call from the Big East has been disconnected and nova will go down in flames once again, even with their BCS recruits. Talley and the nova priests, the ones that aren't drinking and running down opposing players and fans, will be saying a couple Our Fathers as penance for lying to their recruits.
Bottom line...nova has one player. That's it. He'll get banged up and be ineffective by the end of the season and nova will collapse.
Might I remind you that Fordham is also a Top 10 team. Yeah, Nova played sloppy that game, but we still only lost by 3. After making adjustments, we have played way better. Delaware has turned the ball over more times than Nova since then.
I don't have to respond to the rest of your drivel, because it has nothing to do with what happens on the field. (I don't blame you for avoiding that. It's not like UD does anything impressive on the field anyway.)
Just in case you didn't know, here's the GPI for the CAA this week. Note how Delaware is at the bottom.

nova very impressive today. Gutted for 488 yards...second straight week their defense has been abused.
Robertson will wear down by the end of the season.
Maine and JMU will continue to demonstrate nova's weaknesses...as will UD.

As of 10/19/13 post games (yes, Towson is still playing, but that game is over
1- Towson - back on track
2- Maine - destroyed W&M...game not as close as the score
3- UD - a bye week will get the Hens back on track if Devine is allowed to call the game...UD defense has talent to get better
4- JMU - has chance to roll through next four games
5- UNH - OC drops 488 yards nova. Talley was badly outmatched in the chess match against his DL
6- nova - could lose 3 of next 4...with their defense, anything is possible
7- W&M - might not be able to hold onto this spot
8- Stony Brook - .500 is hope
9- URI - got signature win...3-9 looks to be final record
10- UR - whew...WTH is going on down there?
11- Albany - got some guts, but team is not good

Cluck goes with emotion. I go the complete opposite direction and do a statistical drill. The results this weekend are going to require some further study before I can post, but I'm fairly confident my top 3 will be Maine then Towson then Nova even after the Nova win last week over Towson. The transitive property got blown up in the CAA this week.Fact wrote:Nice to see that some UD fans don't even pretend to be objective anymore.
Maine @ Nova is easily the game of the week in FCS next Saturday and I may head up there to see it in person if it's not televised.

1. Towson- back on track.
2. Maine- black bears are rolling.
3. Villanova- still more upside than anybody below on this list.
4. Delaware- should be an interesting final 5 weeks for the hens.
5. James madison- dukes looking strong.
6. New hampshire- possibly a season saving win over nova this week.
7. Stony brook- no playoff hope, but .500 season still in reach.
8. William&mary- as I said last week, tribe don't impress me.
9. Rhode island- shocker over an over rated richmond team.
10. Richmond- embarrising loss to the ram train.
11. Albany- guess the game in newark took all the fight the danes had left.

I give up. The CAA is like a box of chocolates..you never know what you're gonna get....
Top 2:
Maine: 3-0, 6-1 overall.
TU: 3-1, 7-1 overall.
Next 5: Pick them out of a hat, not particular order.....
Nova: 3-1, 3-3 overall, toughest schedule in CAA so far.
UD: 2-1, 5-2 overall, but horrendous on road and almost lost to Albany at home.
JMU: 2-1, 5-2 overall, but hasn't beaten anyone good yet.
UNH: 2-1, 3-3 overall. Probably 2nd toughest schedule in CAA so far.
W&M: 1-2, 4-3 overall, haven't gotten to play any of the bottom 4 like the above 4 have.
Next 3: Pick them out of a hat, not particular order.....
SBU: 1-2, 3-3 overall. I've seen SBU once, and they were thumped @ 3-3 Nova 35-6.
UR 0-3, 2-5 overall, but have lost @ NC State by 2, @ G Webb by 2, Maine by 7, @ JMU by 7, @ URI by 2.
URI: 2-3, 3-5 overall. 2 conference wins came against UR and Albany. 5 losses have been by 17-40 points..
Bottom:
Albany: 0-4, 1-7 overall..
Will know a better order in a couple of weeks....
Top 2:
Maine: 3-0, 6-1 overall.

1. Towson- love the tiger offense, defense, not so much.
2. Maine- black bears have nice balance on both sides of the ball.
3. Delaware- best road performance this year by far. 2-2 means playoff berth.
4. Villanova- probably pissed away their playoff chances against maine.
5. New hampshire- still a playoff heartbeat in durham, barely.
6. William&mary- tribe surprised me saturday, only game I got wrong.
7. James madison- pissed away playoff chances against bill+mary.
8. Stony brook- a shadow of last year's stony brook team.
9. Richmond- a really bad spider team.
10. Rhode island- rams made hens defense look really good.
11. Albany- can't look bad when you're not playing.

Maine was at Richmond, and JMU was home. Like I stated before, Maine is unproven right now. I don't think Maine is all that great either, but we will see next week. JMU has a lot to prove. The loss to Delaware really hurts them right now, and the close win against Richmond doesn't impress. These next two weeks against W&M and Nova will show how good they really are. It's early in the season, but I still think they're over-rated. (Personally I think W&M is the dark horse of the CAA right now. Not JMU, UD, or Richmond.)
Pretty Funny BDKJMU.....are we proven yet?
