Old Dominion leaving is killing the CAA. :coffee:
Yes, because most CAA teams barely beat Norfolk State.

The game was played AT Norfolk St.
It was sunny, and dark. 8-)

Tough road trip. Did your players walk or drive their own cars over?

You have much to learn, my young bitch.

Next time you'll think twice before mouthing off to the pre-eminent mind of FCS football.

And by the way I was trying to be kind giving you 10. On the bright side you can clear your post thanksgiving plans haha.
You have much to learn old fart. Even a blind squirrel gets a nut every now and then. And how about this golden nugget:

And no, there will be no clearing out of my T-day weekend plans. Not yet. Not unless/until JMU gets a 5th loss.

No. UD has 2 losses, UNH, W&M and JMU have 3, Nova and SBU have 4. It would take a perfect storm for all 6 of those teams to finish with 5 losses and none of them get a 3rd CAA bid. CAA is either going to be 3 or 4 teams this yr.

Towson 27, UR 20. TU 2nd straight game on road, has letdown. UR loses 6th game by a TD or less.
Villanova 27, Maine 24. If Nova doesn't upset Maine, Maine could end up 11-1 (last 4 games are SBU, @ Albany, URI, @ UNH).
JMU 24, W&M 17. JMU coming off bye week makes up for being @ W&M.
UNH 31, SBU 27. UNH on road after big Nova win, SBU coming off of a bye week.

Kudos to the W&M defense. Held JMU's inept offense to the 298 yds and 7 points. They displayed why they are #1 in the CAA in total defense and scoring defense (no one else is even close). Only got 1 turnover, but it was the one that counted, a 90 yd pick 6. Also blocked a FG.

JMU defense also played their arse off. Their best defensive game of the year. Stephon Robertson had an absolutely monster game, getting CAA co defensive player of the week. JMU W&M to 251 yds offense & 10 points, forcing 3 turnovers. The JMU offense failed to do jack diddly squat on all 3. Birdsong and the whole JMU offense were mediocre the 1st half, atrocious the 2nd half. Birdsong had been improving every game. But on Sat, at least the 2nd half, he looked like a 1st game true Fr. Horrible, but he had plenty of company. The offense's worst game of the year by far.

CAA Player of the Week Honors:

Five Cop Conference Honors on Heels of Career Days

Offensive Player of the Week: Terrance West, Jr., RB, Towson
West earns his league-best 11th weekly honor on the heels of yet another historic performance in Towson's 48-32 road win over Richmond. The Walter Payton Award Watch List member ran for a career-high 272 yards on 29 carries to become the program's all-time leading rusher with 3,742 yards over 30 career games. West also tied a single-game school record with five touchdowns, including four on the ground, and currently ranks fourth in conference history with 68 touchdowns and tops in the nation with 24 scores this season.

Co-Defensive Player of the Week: Telvion Clark, Sr., LB, Towson
Clark led the Tiger defense with a career-high 16 tackles in Saturday's victory. The senior highlighted the day with a sensational play in which he forced a fumble while sacking Spider quarterback Michael Strauss, recovered the fumble and proceeded to return it 32 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter. The forced fumble was one of his two in the win, which was Towson's ninth straight on the road.

Co-Defensive Player of the Week: Stephon Robertson, Sr., LB, James Madison
Robertson was everywhere in what was a career day for the senior standout. The Buck Buchanan Watch Lister turned in a game-high 15 tackles, including a career-high 5.0 for loss and a sack, to go with a forced fumble and a pass breakup as he paced a Dukes defense that held William & Mary to just 250 yards of total offense on Saturday. Robertson has now recorded double-digit tackles in six of JMU's eight games this season and is tied for seventh in the program annals with 399 for his career.

Special Teams Player of the Week: DeAndre Houston-Carson, Soph., CB, William & Mary
Houston-Carson cops his first conference honor after sparking one of the Tribe's key plays in the team's 17-7 Homecoming win over James Madison. The sophomore blocked Cameron Starke's 31-yard field goal try in the third quarter, which would then lead to William & Mary's go-ahead touchdown drive. Houston-Carson also secured six tackles, including three solo, and a pass breakup on the afternoon.

Rookie of the Week: Eric Enderson, R-Fr., P, Delaware
Enderson came up big in the Blue Hens' kicking game as Delaware rolled to a 35-13 win over Rhode Island. The redshirt freshman sent three punts sailing an average of 55.5 yards, including a 69-yard punt that landed inside the Rams' five-yard line. Enderson's 69-yarder not only marked a career long, but also stands as the 10th-longest boot in school history.
