What if you end up playing NDSU in the round of 16, like TSN is projecting?SACCAT wrote:I don't know about the rest, but I can assure you Montana State will be in the quarter finals. We will lose, but we will be in it.

You need a Patriot autobid. Fordham is not eligible. Who do you kick out?AZGrizFan wrote:Eastern Bracket (3 CAA, 2 Big South, 1 Patriot, 1 NEC, 1 Southern, 1 MEAC, 1 OVC)

NDSU has been in the Eastern bracket the last couple years. All depends on the seeding.AZGrizFan wrote:Playoff Bracket:

3rd head coach and offensive philosophy change in five years for Montana. They will have the new offense down by the playoffs.dbackjon wrote:Grizalltheway wrote:
Keep laughing, buddy, there's no way we lose twice to you in one season. Just ask Weber.
Just like there was no way you'd lose to us, then no way you'd lose to NAU two years in a row?

Oh, wasn't aware of that. Then it'll be Lehigh and EIU will get the #6 seed.89Hen wrote:You need a Patriot autobid. Fordham is not eligible. Who do you kick out?AZGrizFan wrote:Eastern Bracket (3 CAA, 2 Big South, 1 Patriot, 1 NEC, 1 Southern, 1 MEAC, 1 OVC)

Re: Quarterfinalists
Right. The PL actually did themselves a huge favor by making Fordham ineligible for the auto as they will most definitely get an at-large if they win out, giving the PL two teams in. Sorry Z, I wasn't clear that you need Fordham AND a PL auto in there.dbackjon wrote:Fordham is eligible for playoffs. Just not the PL. AutobidAZGrizFan wrote:

I could see 4 of those teams not making it.89Hen wrote:1. North Dakota State Bison (300)
2. Eastern Washington Eagles (276)
3. Eastern Illinois Panthers (267)
4. Maine Black Bears (261)
5. McNeese Cowboys (244)
6. Towson Tigers (238)
7. Fordham Rams (232)
8. Coastal Carolina Chanticleers (217)
This year will be beyond wacky ... it will come down to the brackets, seeding and who snags the home-game 'bids'.
I have not seen the rules for this year, but the only way it can work is for 8 teams to get 'byes'
If only 5 of those teams are seeded, you have to figure at least 2 of the 'bye' teams could be on the road.
And since only 8 teams will be getting 'byes' there will be 3 or 4 really good ball clubs playing in week one that will have some mo'(jo) going into week two.
