No I'm saying Uncle Sam had nothing to play for since they already locked up the top qualifying spot from CONCAF.

There is a difference in playing second string to avoid injuries to your stars and to give the back-ups experience and tanking.

Even though we had B and C players, those players were still trying their hardest to win and impress the coaches.
