In Northern Virginia, most of them are voting blue. That is why McAuliffe is going to win.

I was hoping for judge numbers...

And they will get kicked out of office like the fools in Colorado did.

CNN exit poll has McAuliffe 50% and Cuccinelli 43%, in line with most pre-election polls. No surprise.

Because this is a democracy and there's not much I can do about how people vote.

BTW, I'm in the 13th district and Rob Marshall, one of the longtime cornerstones of VA Republicans and conservatives, was in a fierce fight for his political career against a newcomer. It'll be interesting to see if he's ousted after serving for two decades.

Two decades is too long for any politician. I think US Senators should be capped at two terms (12 years) and US Representatives at four (8 years) with no crossing over. States should follow suit for their legislatures. Why do we limit the President to two terms but not these money-grubbing, lobbyist ball-lickers?

Virginia does not have a recall provision in Commonwealth law...

We're stuck with the winner (whom ever) for four years...

I'll never relax as long as flaming liberals like McAuliffe try to disarm America. And it's not one issue with me. Obamacare needs to be repealed, Government needs to be shrunk (smartly), entitlements need to be reduced, etc. McAuliffe and Democrats stand in the way of all of those.

Let's start by shrinking the Military
What a cliche response. How about the defense budget.. That is so much more than the military.

Cuccinelli is in the lead now, but Northern VA is beginning to report and early results are overwhelmingly for McAuliffe. You can see Cuccinelli's lead slowly shrinking.

There's never been a doubt that McAsswipe would win. This is a blue state now. Rural precincts always report first.

I wouldn't say that just yet. This election seems to be MUCH closer than most polls have shown.

Like I said, once the populous counties trickle in, where the liberals and negroes live, McAsswipe will win, as all pre-election polls showed. Negroes are voting 92% dem. They just vote a blind dem ticket. They'd vote for a klansman if he was dem. McAsshole tv ads outumbered Cooch 10-1 with all the money pumped into the campaign on the dem side. The only thing that kept Cooch close was the fact that Obamacare has been such an abomination so far.

McAuliffe will clearly win NoVA/Richmond/Hampton Roads, but will he win those areas by such a margin to offset the rest of the state? This is a helluva exciting race. Fairfax might end up being the swing "county" in this election due to its sheer number of precincts.

I live in Prince William and it seemed like minorities/immigrants (aka. Democrats) didn't turn out in large numbers. I'm curious if Col Hogan has the same opinion.

The possibility that Cuccinelli will keep this closer than the polls had predicted may be a serious indictment against the damage that Obamacare will do to the democratic party. Obama won the battle but may lose the war with this devastating piece of ill-conceived legislation as it continues to hurt people.

I voted Saturday at the central election office in Manassas so I didn't see the turnout...

93, I know it looks dark right now because McAsswipe (can I borrow that from you?) is going to win...but remember this...there is still a split in the Senate (50-50) and the Republicans hold an overwhelming majority in the House of Delegates...he's not going to get his way often...

Just extrapolating, it looks like McAsswipe will win this around 49-44, which is a bit closer than the pre-polls predicted. There's a good chance that Sarvis will overlap the difference. Sarvis really hurt Cooch in this one.

What sucks is I would have voted for Sarvis if it wasn't basically a vote for McAsswipe.

I think Wolf Blitzer is going to cover the camera lense with jizz when McAsswipe finally passes Cooch.

~1/3 of eligible voters showed up today in VA. That's not too bad...I think.
