I don't think it was the play call (most plays have a dump off route). Just a terrible decision by McGhee.

MSU just lost out on the playoffs, probably, and SUU just punched their ticket.

So can someone who has more knowledge of such things explain the chances for each team in the BSC to make the playoffs?

Can the Cats get in with a win next week or do they need a lot of other help? Will the Griz get in even with a loss next week. SUU/NAU does it come down to the winner or is one in for sure already?

UM (10-2): In with a good shot at a seed/bye
UM (9-3): In, but no seed/bye (first-round home game)

EWU (10-2): In with a high seed
EWU (9-3): In, probably with a seed but no guarantee (hey, it could happen; PSU always plays them tough)

NAU (9-2): In for sure, shot at a seed
NAU (8-3): In, no seed

SUU (9-3): In for sure, but no seed
SUU (8-4): Borderline at best

MSU (8-4): Borderline
MSU (7-5): Out


PSU & Cal Poly both lost today, so they aren't even in the fringe discussion anymore.
