eGriz is reporting that the Warners have dumped their starting safety in a prescription drug forgery scandal. Anyone know anything about this?
Sounds ominous for their chances of staying atop the FCS if true.
BTW, eGriz is also reporting that a Tennesee Vol has been kicked off his team as well.

Warners boot safety?
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Losing a safety should not hurt UNI that much. You have to get past their D-line before you sorry about safeties.

Kurt Warner played for UNI. Hence, "The Warners."
Just like Towson State is "The Keiblers" (for alumna Stacy Keibler), U of Tampa is "The Chynas" (for alumna Joanie "Chyna" Laurer), and Mississippi Valley Sate is "The Jerrys" (for alumnus Jerry Rice. Under this system, I guess one could call Sac "The Hanks" (for alumnus Tom Hanks), but that doesn't sound as good for some reason...
