Montana "thing"
What is it with Montana getting what seems like favorable seeding? They only beat one team with a winning record, the Bobcats who did not even make the playoff field. They lost to NAU yet got an 8 seed and NAU doesn't.

Should we really be surprised by anything the NCAA does? What a joke.

Favorable seeding?? NDSU in the quarterfinals....that is favorable

I hope coach Delaney and the Griz wore burglar masks to their selection show party, because that was straight highway robbery.

The Griz had nothing to do with the selection. I think your last ten posts have been about the UM seed. You should have a beer, relax, watch some NFL and get over it.EWURanger wrote:I hope coach Delaney and the Griz wore burglar masks to their selection show party, because that was straight highway robbery.

Don't be thick, dude. What's the difference (money-wise) between us hosting a first round game or a second round one? Either way we'd be on the road the next week.EWURanger wrote:$$$$$$

The real question is how on Earth does the 8 seed merit a second round game against the winner of Bethune-Cookman and Coastal Carolina? Eastern gets a 3 seed and has the NAU / South Dakota State winner. This makes no sense. The 8 seeded team gets the MUCH easier round in the second round.
You could make a pretty good argument that Eastern drew the single hardest second round game possible. That 3 seed isn't worth much when it's only a number.

Ok, then what's the justification then genius? You finished 3rd in the conference behind NAU, and that same NAU demolished you. Polls be damned.Grizalltheway wrote:Don't be thick, dude. Better SRS, which the committee said would play a large part in the selection process. Any other questions?EWURanger wrote:Ok, then what's the justification then genius? You finished 3rd in the conference behind NAU, and that same NAU demolished you. Polls be damned.Grizalltheway wrote:

You sound like NDSU fans having to face SDSU right away last year lol. This is the playoffs if you want to play for a championship you have to beat some good teams. Something tells me EWU won't win a playoff game if they are wishing they had a upcoming 8th seed matchup.LDopaPDX wrote:The real question is how on Earth does the 8 seed merit a second round game against the winner of Bethune-Cookman and Coastal Carolina? Re: Montana "thing"
Montana gets the seed over a conference mate who pummeled them because of revenue. Not rocket science.

Montana rightfully earned their spot. NAU should have played 12 games. If they were 10-2id be a different story. NAU also didn't face EWU.

I am guessing that Coastal was next in line for the #8 seed. That is why Montana gets the winner of Coastal and Bethune
