But both teams played 11 Division 1 opponents. I don't think playing the Okie Finokies is enough of a justification for giving UM the seed over NAU who had the same number of DI wins, a better conference record, and a win in the HTH over the Griz. But it is what it is. Griz fans should feel very fortunate.

Had the lumberjacks played a similar cupcake, putting them at 12 games and Possibly 10-2 then they would be ahead of the griz. But they didn't.

And it could be argued that had NAU had Montana's schedule (which is much tougher) NAU would NOT BE 9-2.

I personally believe Montana is much better than NAU. Also NAU could crumble like cookies in these playoffs and in Montana's case... That's much less likely.

LOL....NDSU is 6 points away from having a 41 game winning streak right now.....

Until someone beats NDSU they are the best team in the FCS right now.

LOL....I could give a rat's a** if you don't like NDSU fans.....
You're also 2 points away from having just a 6 game winning streak.

Good teams find ways to win games. Ya, there probably has been some luck involved in some of the close games the last few years but don't good teams help create some of that luck?

That UNI team that almost beat the Bison is not the same one now. W/O all of their injuries they would be 11-1 and looking at a possible #2 or #3 seed. Injuries are part of the game, the Bison have had plenty this year also but UNI would be a scary team if they were healthy.

You're purposely ignoring the whole "12 games thing" :coffee:

Obviously not if Montana got the 8 seed. And Montana's conf schedule is CONSIDERABLY tougher. NAU lost to MSU. The same MSU with 5 losses and not in the playoffs!

Check and mate.

That's what this thread is about. Montana didn't play SUU and NAU didn't play us. Edge to the Griz. Montana's toughest OOC was USD who NAU also played. NAU's was Arizona. Montana didn't play an FBS.

Imitation is the... etc :coffee:

UM lost to two playoff teams.

NAU lost to (5 L MSU) MSU. <------------ That's where they FXCKED up. And the fact they didn't play 12 teams. For all we know they would've lost a 2nd non conf game.

Or they could have scheduled an Okie Panhandle and we'd be having the exact same conversation…and I'd still be right. :coffee:

NAU played as difficult, if not a harder schedule, and won the h2h. :coffee:

Game, set, and match…

You're proving my point Kalm. If they would've played 12 and won ten, they would be ahead of UM. Amirite Kalm?

The top 8 is one part of the equation, but if you look at the first round games these seeds make no sense at all. At the end of the day we all have to play who and where they send us. We'll see if the Grizz are for real or posers.
Seriously, if you're that gung-ho about getting to play NDSU in Fargo if you win, you should have no problem beating SDSU and EWU.

Quit whining.

Yeah, but if that happens we'll just have to listen to them whine about how they would have made it farther if they had gotten Montana's draw. This is why NAU shouldn't make the playoffs.

Exactly. Nobody wants to hear you bitch and complain. Especially considering you didn't play the conference champion. Play that opening round game (at home, u ungrateful, complaining fxcks!) and prove you're legit. I'm hoping sdsu downs your asses. Why bc you should be jumpin for joy that you're in instead of bitching.

NAU didn't deserve to be seeded. Montana should have been seeded higher.

Wow. Lot of unnecessary hate for NAU goin on here. My thoughts on Montana getting the seed over NAU: I hate that it has to happen, but I also understand why. Having Montana closer to a TV game is good for the FCS, and whats good for the FCS is good for NAU. It is good for casual sports fans to see the great crowd at playoff griz games, and it shows that this is not an irrelevant brand of football we watch and people actually care about the outcome. And griz fans, STFU about being the better team, our awful offense put up 34 points on your punk asses

If the Griz and NAU played again, that score would be reversed this time around. :coffee:
