And you guys want this front office to keep using high picks for a QB? Fourth time's a charm?
Not sure what you're saying. Eagles turned 3rd round Kolb into a trade for Rogers-Cromartie AND a 2nd round pick. I'd say that worked out pretty damn well. Foles... well I guess yesterday answered that question too.
Kolb is a bust. Foles had a career day against the Raiders.

Next.
I remember this guy named Matt Flynn who had a career day a few years back.

Kolb was a bust for the Cardinals, not the Eagles. Similarly, the Eagles could get more for Foles right now than a 3rd round pick. That's a win.
GannonFan wrote:Obviously, if Foles can be the QB going forward it makes next year's draft that much simpler as you don't need to draft a QB in the first round.

I think the Cards should not have traded DRC he and Peterson could have been for the Cardinals what Pete Carroll has in Seattle two talented DBs.
Four in a row! Nice improvement from 3-5 to 7-5. Tied with the Cowboys (though behind in every tiebreaker) for the Division. One game behind San Francisco for final wildcard spot. Crucial win today to give Eagles the tiebreaker over Arizona. Also moved a game ahead of Chicago with the Bears losing to Minnesota.
Eagles hold their own playoff destiny, as winning out would win the NFC East. Cowboys look to have the easier remaining schedule:
Cowboys
@Chicago (6-6)
Green Bay (5-6-1)
@Washington (3-8 and playing tonight)
Philadelphia (7-5)
Eagles
Detroit (7-5)
@Minnesota (3-8-1)
Chicago (6-6)
@Dallas (7-5)

The edge goes to Philly if Rodgers plays vs Dallas but now they're talking he may not play again this year possibly

Aaron Rodgers could still be back for that game in Dallas, correct? Changes the projections a little bit.
I predict 9-7 final record and no playoffs. Eagles will win the home games and lose both road games, including getting kicked in the nuts (again) by the Vikings. Still a promising first season for the Chipster.
Saw on the Worldwide Leader that Aaron Rodgers went in for scans today to see how well his collarbone has healed. He could play this Sunday if cleared, but you have to figure the team doctors will give a conservative recommendation. He is the franchise after all.
Haha! Megatron was just tackled with his facemask going to the ground and he came up with his face covered by snow. Funny shit. You'll see it on ESPN tonight if you aren't watching live.
Foles just threw his first pick of the season. Eagles offense doing zilch. Snow has neutralized everything. Gotta be 4 - 6 inches of snow on the field in an hour.
