According to the Flag paper, Poe got his ankle rolled. Cartwright looked awful as a replacement - had to have been injured as well.
Ah, OK. Cartwright's decision making mystified me. He's the pocket QB, yet he was panicking & trying to run every time.
The lack of the head guy could explain a lot of this, though I don't know how hands on Souers was with the offense during the season. Also, having Thompson perform double duty could explain the confusing defensive play calling.
