I think all us CCU fans secretly hate our mascot. There's a history behind it, but too long to go into here. But you would have thought a coastal college would have used something 'coastal'...like the Seahawks, etc....

Doc the Tiger, named for Donald "Doc" Minnegan (we also named our football field at Johnny Unitas Stadium for him). He was a legendary soccer, baseball, track and b-ball coach and served as AD. The mascot just got a fresh set of stripes and a new head, well after this photo was taken, obviously.
