Post by 93henfan »

You sure this ain't an April Fool's Day joke many months late?

;-)

This is GREAT news, though Orton ain't all that much better. Look for the Cowboys to sign a new QB. According to the article, they've only carried the two all season, and the one they had on the taxi squad got snatched up by Cleveland around Thanksgiving. I know it's not going to happen, but most of you know who I hope they go after. Ricky Ray would be a great second choice, though....

This isn't great news. Cheering on someone being hurt. How very Christian of you. :ohno:

Romo was their best chance to win this week and in the playoffs. :coffee:

Romo being hurt isn't the "great news." His being done is. This is a chance to get someone better in there....

Beet me to it but he has a better gig coaching HS football. He's the OC and his team won their 1st state championship this year. Pretty sure he only snuck in 6 or 7 times all year!

Really doubt he'd want to step down and become part of the Dallas organization!

WHAT???!!! You mean Favre wouldn't want to join a the HUGE dumpster fire in Dallas? Madden would come out of retirement to announce his games!

Good for Favre for coaching up his kids and winning a state championship :thumb:

Depends on who you define as "his kids." He was coaching at the school his daughter attends; I don't think she was on the team....

Oh? You sure about that? D. White, Flutie, Ricky Ray, and Tebow are available. And that's just the male quarterbacks I could name....

Can I buy some crack from you? :?

Flutie is 51. White is 61. Those two are still better choices right now than Tebow, but still…

What about that QB..umm..Vinny T? I bet he could take some snaps and do his job well. I bet he throws a ball better than Tebow.

My vote would be Y.A. Tittle. He's apparently still alive.

Tebow doesn't throw picks. Vinny T is the original Mr. INT....

Kinda tough to throw a pick when your decision process is:
1) get sacked
2) run for 1 yard
3) throw a pass 5 yards short and right into the ground or 10 yards over the head of the receiver

Well. That settles the argument. 2 instances where he got lucky and his Receiver did their job. Best QB out there....say, quick question. Where is Tebow playing this weekend?

Tebow is the football version of Pee Wee Kirkland. His skills are too great for the NFL and he can make big money elsewhere.
