They must be really pissed at this point :coffee:

Cue the spinmaster
Look at the all those 2nd place finishers, chomping at the bit as if 1st place is still realistic.

Seahawks will still clinch the #1 seed. SF still isn't a lock for the playoffs. Good luck... you have AZ nipping at your heels. :thumb:

Nice job Seattle. Way to lose with class.

Consider Joe Fitzgibbon, a Democratic state representative whose district includes Seattle. In the wake of Seattle's loss, Fitzgibbon popped off on Twitter in a way he'd soon regret. He deleted the tweet, but oh, guess what ... the Washington State Republican party got a screengrab, and shared it:

There is that tolerant Democrat we are always hearing about.

Someone go back to last season's thread and find Mr. "2nd Placer's" posts. Knowing you, I'm sure "chomping at the bit" would be an understatement.

But seriously dude, you crack me up. Momentum... going... going... gone

If the Falcons somehow win tonight, the Saints will clinch a playoff spot & the 49ers/Cardinals game will decide the other wild card. If the Falcons lose, then the 49ers clinch & the Cards will need to beat SF and have NO lose to TB.

Reminder that the Colts beat the 1st and 2nd place teams in this division, along with the Broncos and Chiefs. Just be glad you scrubs won't have to play us until the Superb Owl. :coffee:

Good god, apparently it's illegal to actually hit NFC South players.

I saw that. I turned off the TV right after. No sense in watching something that is nothing but a bunch of bullshit. #NoFunLeague

Why doesn't the NFL just make a rule that the receiver cannot be hit until he catches the ball?

Why doesn't the NFL just make a rule that the QB cannot be hit...EVER?

And a host of other shitty rules?

One thing is for sure, NFC West >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Every other division. THREE 10+ win teams? Crazy. Niners will be huge Lambs fans this next Sunday. Not sure it will do a lot of good, but we'll see. Good luck with AZ... :thumb:

One of the most entertaining games ever. Man those lambs talked a lot of shit, and not just to the Hawks, but to the refs too apparently. Who knew there was a "verbal abuse of an official" penalty.

  • Arizona should be improved with a decently competent QB in Palmer this year. Only one way to go from 58-0, AMIRITE!?
  • St. Louis will be entertaining to watch as they are young and talented, and gave everyone in the division fits last year. If Bradford can take the next step and prove he's more than an average QB, the Rams might contend for the second wild card spot.
  • San Francisco should adapt reasonably well to the loss of Crabtree with excellent schemes and play calling from Harbaugh. Prove it year for Kaepernick as the starter from the get go, minus his security blanket.
  • Seattle's division title aspirations hinge on how well they can survive the first half of the season with the pass rush in flux. Bruce Irvin will be out the first four, Clemons could start the season on the PUP, and Avril is dealing with a plantar faciitis injury.
My prediction | Actual
SEA: 12-4 | 13-3
SF: 11-5 | 12-4
STL: 10-6 | 7-9
AZ: 7-9 | 10-6

Discuss. :coffee:
Man, flip STL and AZ, and I pretty much nailed the records. :king:

I think Fisher is still one of the best coaches in the NFL. They had some really impressive wins this year and wouldn't be surprised if they're a playoff contender next season.

They won't be since they still think Bradford is the QB that can lead them to the promise land. :ohno:
