Come walk around the hills and get killed by a wolf. I got a place for you to stay for the night...you will only get one night. There will be a human death/injury count this summer, and it will be high.

Stop whining. There are zero recorded instances of wolves killing humans. You're a hundred times more likely to get attacked by your neighborhood pit bull.

your more likely to get killed by a vending machine then a wolf.

that said If I was there and a wolf killed my dog I would round up a possee and go after the fuckers with some AK 47s

First off....aren't you on the list of people that cannot, under any circumstances, own or be around animals?
Second....don't you need friends besides your blow up doll of John Goodman to form a posse?
Third....you couldn't own or shoot a gun anyways because you don't think citizens should possess any weapon more dangerous than a ball point pen.

Two black colored wolves are being hunted south of Casper Wyoming today after attacking cattle and killing a calf in that area. A wildlife biologist who has contracted with the Wyoming Game & Fish Dept. authored a guest column in the Casper Star Tribune a couple weeks ago reminding everybody that the U.S. Fish And Wildlife Service had insisted in the beginning that they could keep the transplanted Canadian wolves within the confines of the Yellowstone National Park Boundary, and that any and all control methods could be used if any wolves venture outside the park.

The two wolves being hunted south of Casper are well over two hundred miles from YNP, and another Government owned wolf has been found dead in north central Colorado, some 400 miles from Yellowstone.

I know none of you ous-landers give a fuck about the people here and their property, somehow by adorning us with wolves leaves you a warm fuzzy thinking there is a great Wilderness out here where beautiful young indian princesses pose with their arm around a nice friendly looking wolf puppy dog with the Grand Tetons as their backdrop, but please help yourself to the thickest part of the big brown stripe in my skidmore bosco shorts. I should wish the re-introduction of the velociraptor to your city parks and suburbs.

Darwinism....too many hysterical city folk in this world anyway.....will it be as high as the number of deaths and injuries caused by those hulking metal boxes on rubber rolling down the streets? Let's outlaw "death"mobiles.....

BULL SHIT
I wonder how many dogs are euthanized every year in western Montana due to being lost and the owner's not having them microchipped? or better yet, how many are euthanized since thier owner's have chosen not to spay or neuter thereby increasing the unwanted pet population in the local shelters? If you're concerned about the dogs being killed, volunteer at a spay and neuter clinic. If you're worried about the wolves, then keep your dog in at night or move to Fargo....

The people that had their dog killed are not some transplanted fucks from out of state. They are native Montanans and are normal people unlike all you eco nutjobs, That does include you EC assholes and Californians that think Montanans still ride horses and shit. WE HAVE FENCES. If someone wants to leave their pet outside for the night they shouldn't have to worry about it being dead the next morning.

And Appa, I am concerned when I go for a walk in the hills near my house and have to watch my back. I will make you a deal. You come out here, I will pay for you to bring 3 or 4 dogs and you can go hiking. I bet you will go through atleast 2 of them. Fucking wolves are rampant.

Third one is optional...if radio collared it is good practice to take that collar and toss it in the river, if one is handy nearby.

As of right now, I haven't read the paper yet today, the count is 4 Wolf-dog kills around and in Missoula. I am willing to bet that that number will be in the 20's by the end of summer with an attatchment of one or two little kids.

Moreover, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission there were 37 known vending machine fatalities between 1978 and 1995, for an average of 2.18 deaths per year. Over the past decade there were a total of six recorded shark attack fatalities in the U.S., for an average of .6 deaths per year.
