IF the Bengals fail me again I will know for a fact that Dalton has a soul and is not a true redhead.

I'm going to try and be extra nice to my wife (49er fan) all week just to see if that helps!

Re: NFL Wildcard predictions
Eagles - Saints suck on the road.
49ers - Packers have Rodgers back, but their D is still terrible.
Bengals - Chargers are the worst team in the playoffs.
Chiefs - No idea on this one, especially with how inconsistent the Colts have been.

Re: NFL Wildcard predictions
The best thing about having Rodgers back is the defense will spend less time on the field. The big change between the previous games with the 49ers is the Packers running game has improved with the development of Eddie Lacy and combined with Starks, gives them a decent chance to control the ball longer. And that also helps keep the defense off the field.

WOW. Really even graph. well..except for the Bengal game, which means the Bengals will lose in blowout fashion.

Chiefs have been tanking lately while the Colts are peaking at the right time. Indy wins this one going away.Mvemjsunpx wrote:Eagles - Saints suck on the road.

Chargers, Chiefs, Eagles, 49ers.
And yes, I'm going with the Chargers since no one thinks they can win.

FIFY I'd pick the Saints if they had matched up with Dallas. Eagles outside no matter what the weather is will be tough matchup for a struggling Saints O (excluding the game against the Bucs)Mvemjsunpx wrote:Eagles - Saints suck on the road outdoors.

Re: NFL Wildcard predictions
Eagles (Chip Kelly karma lasts one more week)
49ers (could be best NFC team right now)
Colts (Andy Reid tanks another one)
Bengals (I wanted to root for Philip Rivers, but the Chargers didn't impress against KC subs last week)

Re: NFL Wildcard predictions
Interesting that right now, the only Wildcard game this weekend that is sold out is the Eagles/Saints game - the games in Green Bay, Indy, and Cinci are all facing possible local TV blackouts. And the Eagles game will be at night on a day when the temperature won't get out of the 20's.

Re: NFL Wildcard predictions
I didn't know playoff games are subject to blackout. Oh well, there is always secondaislesports for the live streams.
Eagles - I guess I'll jump on the "weather will be a factor" bandwagon.
9ers - I guess weather won't be a factor in this one.
Colts - Since I was stuck with Trent Richardson on my fantasy team, what better time for him to have a huge game.
Bolts - Homer pick, and for my avatar's sake I hope the Chargers pull it out. Plus it's the Bengals. When is the last time they won a playoff game?

Re: NFL Wildcard predictions
Eagles - Weather will be a factor, but the Eagles are playing great. The Saints can't play outside.
Packers - I honestly don't know why, but this is just a horrible feeling of a game as a 49er fan. We're the better team, we have the better defense by far, and the better running game, which will be especially important in The Ice Bowl II - The Sequel/The Movie/The Game (which, as a Griz fan, I really have no right to complain about
), but Lambeau Field always gave me nightmares as a kid, and it still does.
Colts - Captain Game Manager still can't beat a good team, and I feel the Colts are playing well enough to beat them.
Bengals - Rivers is good, but the Bengals are a much better team.

Re: NFL Wildcard predictions
That was pathetic. Against the worst D in the league too. At least the 49ers/GB game was entertaining!Andy Daulton
49ers vs. Panthers should be a good one next week!

Re: NFL Wildcard predictions
Wife recorded the Packer/49er game.. She watched it AGAIN the other night.........this season will never end!

Anyone else have a sneaking suspicion that the Hawks are in trouble on Saturday? Maybe the Bronco's too.

Re: NFL Wildcard predictions
The Saints and Chargers seem to have a lot of momentum, and the NFL playoffs are all about momentum.
Re: NFL Wildcard predictions
The only reason they seem to have momentum is because they lost games before they started winning more of them.....some teams have been winning for "awhile".....Grizalltheway wrote:The Saints and Chargers seem to have a lot of momentum, and the NFL playoffs are all about momentum.

Re: NFL Wildcard predictions
The Pats had been winning for "a while" when the 10-6 Giants beat them, so had the Colts when the 6th seeded Steelers knocked them off. Shit, your Packers were 10-6 before they got hot and won the SB.VictorG wrote:The only reason they seem to have momentum is because they lost games before they started winning more of them.....some teams have been winning for "awhile".....Grizalltheway wrote:The Saints and Chargers seem to have a lot of momentum, and the NFL playoffs are all about momentum.
So, your point, again?
