We'd all be OK with that once the Eagles win a mother*&%^ing Superbowl.
One of my kids was asking me the other day about SB's and Stanley Cups, etc... Said that while the Eagles had never one a SB, the Redskins hadn't won more than 2-3 playoff games in their life. I'm tired of losing though...
Eagles - Never
Flyers - 1975
Caps - Never
Nats - Never

Yeah, but I kinda resigned my Phillies fandom, so it's not really cool for me to count it.

Blue Hens - 2003!!
Well, you kinda resigned going to those games as well....
Right. Let the million Eagles fans across the country know they aren't Eagles fans if they don't go to games. You really need to let that go Bill or you will be very lonely in your fandom. Maybe give it up for new years.

Yup, I'll probably change my tune too once that happens!!!
Yep. 29th in total defense. Against the run they're decent- 10th in the NFL. But are 20th in sacks and dead last against the pass. Secondary needs to be fixed and pass rush needs to be improved.

It was a good game. The Eagles should win the division again next year. We all know the D needs help, but who do they sign for their 2nd WR? Cooper? Maclin? Draft?

Maclin is clearly the 2nd WR, so as long as he's back they have that guy.
They lost because they lost at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball - they couldn't run effectively all night and they couldn't stop the run or get any real pressure all night. At this point, the defense needs to be addressed so look to the draft and free agency to plug the holes there. Should be the favorite to win the NFC East next year so the key is not suffer the same fate as recent past favorites (Skins this year, Cowboys it seems almost every year).

That was painfully obvious from the first series. The NO o-line was manhandling the Eagles D and I muttered to myself that it was going to be a long night. The main thing that kept the Eagles in it were their explosiveness and the injury to Keenan Lewis. Kelly rightfully attacked the hell out of that poor rookie CB in the second half.
The Eagles will need to get stronger through the draft & free agency. They should be the consensus NFC East pick next year but more will be expected for sure.

It was humorous to see Bruce Arians say that Chip had a nice system, for college, just a few days before his Cardinals lost to that "college" system and had their hopes dashed for the "pro" playoffs. Way to open your soup cooler Bruce!
