Are the Blazers for real?
Blazers are the NBA's surprising team this season and after last night's win in San Antonio, they are at 30-9, and just a half game behind the Spurs for the best record in the West. This road trip they are on does not get any easier as they play at Dallas tonight, have Sunday off, then play at Houston on Monday (on national TV, TNT) and finish on Tuesday at Oklahoma City. This will tell if they are a legit contender this year, but last night they became the first team this season to beat the Spurs when trailing at the end of the third quarter. Are they for real or are they just a strong pretender? Time will tell as the year goes on, and they have a trip similar to this one happening in March (same 4 teams with a side trip to Memphis as well).
