ISU 78-84 SAC; Hornets hold on despite no field goals in the final 6 minutes

According to Hornetsports the women are missing 3 due to injuries. Pretty significant when all 10 players see action at the high tempo style they play.

Watched the replay this morning. Amazing game, huge win for the Hornets. I hope they can turn this into a run for a BSCT berth.

Hey SDHornet. Would it be possible for you to go kick your announcer square in his sandy vagina? WTF is his deal?

One could say the same for the Weber announce crew....

You obviously didn't hear his 20+ minute rant on the officials during the game....I love ya SH...but for fucks sake. Can you be sane for one fucking minute here?

I am. Weber's announce crew on the OTHER game was going off about how a 14-5 team stinks so bad that "anybody" could beat them. And that's a team that had ALREADY broken the BSC single-game team scoring record once already this season. They were freaking out after the Hornets proceeded to do it AGAIN that very night....

He's been the Sac radio guy for well over a decade. It's a miracle he hasn't turned to serial murder.

And, though his whining about Montana/Weber was stupid, that should have been a foul on Richardson at the end of regulation.

I think Weber's women's announcers are students. They sound like that, anyway.

And Sac's women have proven that anyone is capable of beating them, as shown by their loss to badly depleted PSU.

I’m not a McElroy fan but for the most part I don’t disagree with his rant. However he should be above rants like that, those kinds of rants belong on places like this. I did find it entertaining that he was saying those things right in front of the refs as they were huddled at the scorers table. The refs should be above that getting in their heads.

The foul on Berry was correct, however the refs need to burry their whistles in their pockets in those situations….kind of like how they did on McKinney’s drive (on which he was fouled with WAY more contact then that hand check foul) at the end of regulation.

As far as the Weber women’s announcer go…kinda funny coming from a program that hasn’t won a BSC game in almost 2 years. Also funny to see the Weber board butthurt over McElroy’s comments but have no issue with their announcers degrading another program on the air. Ranting about refs is one thing, degrading another program is a whole other level imo.

After tonight's results, Southern Utah is still winless while everyone else is at least 5-6. :?

Weber is also running away with the regular season, but it's mainly because nobody else wants it.

Weber still has the BULK of thier schedule coming up, after UNC at home tomorrow its 4 straight roadies against all of Weber's rivals.

@ SUU
@ ISU
@ UM
@ MSU

and we still have to play @ PSU and Eastern, I am not giving Weber the title now, lot of basketball yet to be played for sure.

Say Weber State hosts the tourney this year...what will the feeling be if the Griz pull your hearts out again by winning?
