She is really bad. She can't even power through a standard hit.

Not every MALE running back can do that, V. Running into the line in 8-man ball is a bad proposition REGARDLESS of who the back is. Without a tackle, it's VERY hard to do it, particularly since you can't really run an iso play due to the lack of a fullback (unless you bring in the flanker, thereby making the threat of a pass nearly moot). If you want to run, you gotta run toss sweep or do an end around.

I would have preferred seeing Dr. Welter run back kicks. I'd like to see what she can do in the open field (such as there is in the IFL).

I guess marketing wise it's an ok story but she had 3 carries for -1 yards in a preseason game so who knows if she was even playing against the top indoor guys on that team. She is not big enough to play against professional football players of any level as a running back (nor would a guy that size). It was a marketing stunt in a preseason game. Likely won't make the team unless they are looking to only fill seats with her spot.

She talks how excided she is that she got up. If that was the goal of a professional football player, that is a horrible goal. I understand she is the first female to play but it really was not a success unless you define success by not getting injured and not fumbling.

You missed the point, TP. That statement was in response to the prevailing attitude that ANY woman will DIE after ONE hit by ANY man. She proved that to be incredibly false. You ALSO seem to be comparing her yardage total to a similar total in 11-man ball. When you don't have a bloody OT out there, it's nearly impossible for ANYONE to run into the interior line. If you try to judge her by outdoor standards in the indoor game, you're a dummy. We'll see what happens when they start running her on toss sweep (particularly if the receivers either block or run off the DBs) and KOR.

She got hit and went down quickly. :tothehand: She couldn't power through, or slide off, the tackle for even one yard. Hit her, and she goes down faster than a whore getting paid to go down.

Goal was to get back up? That is so weak!

She is satisfied to be on the field as a publicity stunt, and that speaks highly to the fact that she knows she simply can't compete with the boys. They could have put a 130lb middle school boy out there and he would have done a better job.

The best she is going to be is a distraction...time to put her in a bathing suit and give her a sign that tells the audience what quarter is starting.

BTW, who is more effeminate, the weak azz, she-man football player, or Arsenio? :suspicious:

Definitely some testosterone imbalance issues with both of them.
