Um, Weber fans couldn't care less about women's basketball (do a search on the wildcat forum about women's ball), or about what the announce crew says about women's basketball programs.
For not caring about what announcers say the WSU fanbase sure got their panties in a bunch over McElroy's comments. :coffee:

It is now. Weber will host, can't see them giving up a 2 game lead with 4 to play.

The Hornets have gone from 2-6 to 9-7, winning 7 of the last 8.

PSU rolled EWU on the road which makes the 8-8 log jam another team deep. Utter craziness heading into the final 4 games.

You're the expert, SD. Will the Sky break the tie, or let everyone involved in the logjam in, using play-in games? If they break the tie, what's the main criterium? Best record against the group? Point differential? Something else?

You know there're tiebreakers, man. There's never a play-in game. :ohno:

1. Head-to-head record (for all teams tied together)
2. Record against each conference opponent starting at the top. Other ties are broken first if necessary to determine common opponent order.
3. RPI
4. Coin Flip (won't happen because the chance of RPI being tied is basically zero)

If a team (or multiple teams) is eliminated by one tiebreaker in a multi-way tie, then the procedure starts over for all remaining tied teams.

Keep in mind the current bracketology assumes all conference leaders win their conference tournaments. That never happens.

The Big Sky Champ certainly could get a play-in game. On the other hand, the '02 Griz (16-14) somehow got a 15-seed.

Thank you for the info, Venus. I figured that there was a tiebreaker. It would suck, though, for someone to get left out because the tie was so huge.

No it wouldn’t, teams that lose the tie breaker had numerous chances to not be in that situation in the first place. There are 20 BSC games for fuck sakes, 20!!!

Hope you are right, and that the team that wins the Big Sky tourney isn't the Griz or the Cats.

Inexcusable, Lady Griz. Inexcusable performance… :ohno:

Oh, & it looks like backup PG Haley Vining just ripped her knee out again, so Torry Hill may have to play 40 minutes every game from now on. :?
