House Democrats, who had scheduled a hearing on "Global Warming" today, during which America's Biggest Liar Al Gore has been scheduled to testify, has canceled the testimony of Lord Christopher Monckton, a leading Climate Change skeptic and well known public advocate against Alarmist censorship.
...before reading...here's what really happened...
Subcommittee on Energy and the Environment Chair, Henry Waxman, no peer to Gore's stature as a lying POS, attempted to pull a Friday "grandstand" by "secretly" slipping in Gore's testimony for weekend news broken record repetition. Committee Republicans, suspecting this move, requested their own "secret" witness be allowed to testify ALONGSIDE the Dems...which Waxman originally agreed to allow.
Once learning it was Lord Monckton some time yesterday, Waxman and Gore freaked out and cancelled his testimony...which Lord Monckton learned about at the last minute upon arriving in Washington.
...the why?...
Lord Monckton is a walking encyclopedia of all things Climate Change, with the ability to recall thousands of scientific facts and their supporting studies. He has been challenged to debate the Climate Change theory by several staunch AGW advocates...which he always heartily accepts...to which he devours his debate opponents (I've heard a few of the debates...and it ain't pretty...he's cool, never hesitates, and his encyclopedic breadth of knowledge is spooky...very well organized, articulate and polite to boot...)
...the Bottomline...
Were Monckton allowed to testify alongside Gore...he would put an end to the folly of this scam once and for all and exposed Al Gore as a liar and a coward.

Washington, DC -- UK's Lord Christopher Monckton, a former science advisor to Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, claimed House Democrats have refused to allow him to appear alongside former Vice President Al Gore at a high profile global warming hearing on Friday April 24, 2009 at 10am in Washington. Monckton told Climate Depot that the Democrats rescinded his scheduled joint appearance at the House Energy and Commerce hearing on Friday. Monckton said he was informed that he would not be allowed to testify alongside Gore when his plane landed from England Thursday afternoon.
“The House Democrats don't want Gore humiliated, so they slammed the door of the Capitol in my face,” Monckton told Climate Depot in an exclusive interview. “They are cowards.”
According to Monckton, Rep. Joe Barton (R-Texas), Ranking Member on the Energy & Commerce Committee, had invited him to go head to head with Gore and testify at the hearing on Capitol Hill Friday. But Monckton now says that when his airplane from London landed in the U.S. on Thursday, he was informed that the former Vice-President had “chickened out” and there would be no joint appearance. Gore is scheduled to testify on Friday to the Subcommittee on Energy and the Environment's fourth day of hearings on the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009. The hearing will be held in 2123 Rayburn House Office Building.
