Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

But is it also the reason it started falling apart?Ibanez wrote:Dback, you're a great guy, but that's just bullshit right there. Non-union labor?dbackjon wrote:Conks and non-union labor![]()

Non union labor is the reason it's not a $120M stadium.

One of the major points of a union is to make sure workers aren't held accountable for doing crappy work. Another major point is to make sure they keep getting raises, etc., whether they do crappy work or not. I don't know why ANYBODY would believe union labor should lead to a superior product.

Unions can be guilty of those things but there are also union apprentice and training programs that work very hard at making sure that union members are well trained on the fundamentals through the latest tools and techniques. Open shop training varies by location but can be up to the individual and the contractor.JohnStOnge wrote:One of the major points of a union is to make sure workers aren't held accountable for doing crappy work.
