NFL Hypocrisy

Post by bluehenbillk »

So next month they may penalize the use of the the N-word and other slurs.

However, they still won't take a stance on the Redskins nickname & the league's most famous racist Riley Cooper just got a 5yr/$25M contract this morning.

Yep.... :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee:

So will the enforcement of the N word be for everyone, or only for interracial use? This should be interesting....

Should be a work place rule for everyone, just like any other business with diversity rules.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, which is highly likely, but the NFL CAN'T do anything about the Redskins name, correct? They can send harsh words, take away draft picks and cap money ( ), etc., but legally they can't make Snyder change the name, right?

Again, fureal, I may be wrong. It's honestly not something I think about too much except 16 days a year (and not a day more without the playoffs!)

Perhaps the rest of the NFL can shun them, like the Amish do.

Wait, no, that would accomplish nothing. Carry on.

They're trying to make up for all the years they refused to pay their WRs from 00-03 when McNabb really needed one. You know, before they finally did pay for TO and got to a Superbowl with TO on a leg held together with screws.

In other news, Ravens re-sign Dennis Pitta for $8M more than R Cooper.

He's worth it. Unlike Coop.
