The New Confederacy..
Apparently gaining strength in Wyoming. On my trip to Casper and back, I noticed three instances of flying the Rebel colors instead of Old Glory. Two instances it was the only flag on display, in the other, it flew under our state flag. At the Teabaggers party in my home town, two hundred rebels showed up to be teabagged, and were said to be complaining about most everything from cigarette taxes, to local property taxes, but also I was told a healthy dose of bitching about our black democrat in the White House (hmm, guess that does chap their asses).
Compare our two hundred teabaggers in my town of 6,000 to Boston which only had 500 teabaggers.
If this state erupts into a cauldron of KKK style bigotry and hate, how ever will the University Of Wyoming be able to continue recruiting football and basket ball players down the road?
Anybody been noticing a flourish of Confederate flag waving where you live?

You know, Wedgie, I've noticed an increase in out-in-the-open display of the stars and bars in Wisconsin, especially as you get into the trailer parks and poor towns. Saw some bitter anti-Obama painting on the back window of a junky Chevy Cavalier sitting outside a sh*tkicker bar in Mondovi, WI.

You can always find some stars and bars in trailer courts and jacked up pickups from the 80's. Funny thing is that most haven't ever been within 500 miles of any true Southern state.

Oh, bullsh*t, Hank. Just got back from Florida, Georgia, Tennessee and Kentucky. Saw at least twelve vehicles like that in a week. Florida was the worst. I see one once a year up here.

THEN;

I think we should just trust our president in every decision that he makes and we should just support that.
NOW;

Everybody should just keep teabagging until we get him on the ropes, and I will proudly fly the stars and bars until the last dog is hung, or the new white America is born.

Yeah, i've noticed the serfs and ignorant, uniformed slobs here with thier flags, but in the past few years, I see less and less. I understand the heritage it represents, but it also represents some blemishes.
Oh, and it is a battle flag. The fucks don't have the sense to fly the NATIONAL FLAG OF THE CSA!
For an updated one, look at Georgia's state flag.

And then the 1st National Flag of the CSA.

It's still a Confederate flag you mo-rons.

I see less and less of the Confederate battle flag in SC.
There is a guy that lives close to TOG though that flies the Battle Flag and a Star of David. I am convinced that citdog resides there.

Yep and correct and for all of you that referred to the Battle Flag as the Stars and Bars. the Second flag above is the stars and bars.MarkCCU wrote:Yeah, i've noticed the serfs and ignorant, uniformed slobs here with thier flags, but in the past few years, I see less and less. When I first moved here in '84 I was surprised by the number confederate flags, and the southern quality of the regional accent. Guess I'm just used to it now.Wedgebuster wrote:Apparently gaining strength in Wyoming. On my trip to Casper and back, I noticed three instances of flying the Rebel colors instead of Old Glory. Across the river in Kentucky is where I notice large numbers of confederate flags. They hate to be reminded that they were a good union state.

The amazing thing about the location of the house is that TOG lives in an upscale part of downtown Greenville. He also lives in a very diverse neighborhood. One of the streets is Galivan, nicknamed Gayliving because it is very much a neighborhood with alternative lifestyles. One of the reasons the battle flag looks so out of place among the Rainbow Flags that occasionaly fly on the other houses.Appaholic wrote:Yep.....out back.....chained to an engine block.....OL FU wrote:I see less and less of the Confederate battle flag in SC.

So for the most part, taking note of the above exception, these Confederate Battle Flag waving persons are mostly white, un or undereducated, mostly toothless, living in junky trailer houses, fucking their sister, listening to John Cougar Mellencamp, and living on food stamps?
Getting damn tough to ID these Republicans these days.
Come to think of it, the places where I saw them flying were absolute shitholes.
There is only one flag flying in Moneta, Wyoming, a very large Confederate Battle Flag.

Surprisingly, here in Charleston they are rarely seen. At the tea party downtown on the 15th I saw maybe one out of almost 6000 people that were in attendance. The majority of the flags were the stars and stripes. Also a fairly good mix of blacks and latinos, not just us right wing extremists that the MSM wanted everyone to believe were the only ones in attendance.

Mellencamp might be a little to avant garde. I dont see any CSA flags here in Utah, As a matter of fact, I have seen more and more of Old Glory flying. I have seen more GOD BLESS AMERICA stickers on vehicles, and more gun rights stickers, and capitolism bumper stickers.
