Anyways...the CL is Bayern's to lose. The only thing they have going against them right now is that they wrapped up the Bundesliga so early that they have been playing some pretty meaningless games. Although that does mean they can rest some of their players (like that glass pussy Robben). I think they'll beat Real by a goal or two with the away advantage in the favor as well.

Atletico should have no problem with Chelsea. They have no consistent attack. Torres, Ba & Eto are so hit or miss that Chelsea has had to rely on too many 1-goal wins, which won't fly against Atletico (even though they haven't scored more than 2 goals in a game since February) and their (Blues) sometimes porous defense.

So that puts Bayern against Atletico in the final. Again, Bayern's to lose. These two games against Real that actually mean something should like their fires a bit.

Semi's
AM (home) vs. Chelsea (away) - 2-0
Chelsea (home) vs. AM (away) - 1-1, 3-1 aggregate

RM (home) vs. Bayern (away) - 1-2
Bayern (home) vs. RM (away) - 3-2, 5-3 aggregate

Final
Bayern vs. Atletico - 2-1

Was that a serious question?

Bayern shouldn't be touched...

You're right, on paper, they shouldn't be touched. But they also shouldn't have lost the final against Chelsea at home two years ago.

Real Madrid are shaky on defense, but the Bale-Benzema-Ronaldo combination is a human wrecking machine if you let them run wild.

Hoping for back-to-back trebles for Bayern but it's by no means a lock. :twocents:

This does not belong in the Champions League thread. They were already eliminated before this thread was started, and they aren't even eligible to participate next season.
