Well yes, Neymar probably has at least one get well card...so in an odd way, you are correct.dal4018 wrote:Their best 2 players are out with cards I think but still others must make concerted effort to take their place and prove they belong!!!BDKJMU wrote:I've never seen Brazil play before. Even though it makes you feel dirty doing so, I almost have to root for Argentina today. Messi's easy to root for, but it's hard to root for the rest of that team. But I don't see the Dutch having a prayer against Germany, and the Dutch haven't exactly been playing attractive soccer lately. More of a grind it out team with Robben flopping here and there. I'm going to root for Messi to do a lot of good things and try to ignore everything else going on on the field.

This one sums it up best
Looking at some of the goals scored it really looks like he knows where the ball is going but jumps away from it on purpose...

Re: US SOCCER
But how does that explain the rest of the Brazil team just letting Germany float into wide open spaces. Heck, on that 3rd goal I think, there were three Brazilian players just jogging back and one of them could've gotten to that guy before he shot if they had been running from the start. Once Klose scored that second goal it was over, they just fell apart and stopped trying. They were probably more shocked than even the crowd was.clenz wrote:This one sums it up best

I'm not saying conspiracy or anything...just utter amazement that he seems to know exactly where every ball was going but made just enough of a move elsewhere to "just miss" the ball.
He got no help from his defense though...none.

Re: US SOCCER
And that first goal was brutal. Of all the people to leave alone in the box, why would you leave Mueller alone? It's like not covering Lebron underneath the basket on an inbounds play.clenz wrote:I'm not saying conspiracy or anything...just utter amazement that he seems to know exactly where every ball was going but made just enough of a move elsewhere to "just miss" the ball.

"Brazil Fans Start Obscene Chant Toward Female President During World Cup Loss
During the 7-1 loss in the World Cup semifinals against Germany, Brazil soccer fans became so outraged with the score that they began chanting “Ei, Dilma, vai tomar no cu,” which translates to: “Hey, Dilma, go f*** yourself in the a**!”
Brazilian fans are angry with President Dilma Rousseff, for allowing the government to spend more than $11 billion dollars to host the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Fans began chanting around the 40th minute of the match that became the worst defeat since Brazil’s 1950 World Cup loss to Uruguay.
Those protesting against Rousseff believe that the money invested to host the World Cup could have been put to better use by building up schools and hospitals or helping poor neighborhoods like Cidade de Deus.
News America Now reported that police fired tear gas to break up hundreds of protesters outside Rio de Janeiro’s Maracana Stadium and that buses were set on fire. Stores were also looted in Sao Paulo.
Angry fans even set fire publicly burning the flag of Brazil in the streets............"
