the big difference here... the so called "party of personal responsibility" has spent the last 6 months crying and bitching and blaming everyone but themselves for losing everything in 4 short years... kinda ironic... kinda funny that they feel entitled to power... kinda pathetic that when voters flat rejected their party that they want to make it everyone's fault but their own...

I will grant you that Obama has a terribly difficult job!

I expected those of you who support Obama in a partisan fashion to be able to admit his mistakes while reminding us all that he has only been in office for 100 days, and that he and his new team will inevitably improve as they learn from their mistakes. You would enjoy credibility beyond yourselves had you done so.

But no. In your infatuation, you make excuses for every blunder, whether egregious or trivial.

...And Waco again was not about the 2nd Amendment. To tie it as such is ludicris...

Bullcrap. The local CPS had investigate Koresh's cult many, many times...yet had no evidence linking him to child abuse or polygamy.

It was the Koresh member's attendance at gun shows and purchase of semi-automatic firearms which alarmed the local law enforcement community. Don't forget, it was a gun dealer's assertion that one of the Cult's followers inquired about converting a semi-automatic weapon to full-auto which triggered BATF's involvement.

Reno, under Clinton's marching orders, attempted to "set an example" by targeting survivalist families (Ruby Ridge) and organizations (Koresh). What hasn't been asserted in the press was that the targets were selected based upon racial criteria. Specifically, in the wake of Robert Matthews "Order" cataclysm up in WA and Idaho, DOJ was on the hunt for supposed "white supremacist" organizations or icons, so Koresh and Weaver, being white and anti-government, became convenient targets.

Aren't you missing something T-man? What else was the BATF going to do when a gun dealer gives them that kind of info? It's not like gun-show dealers are big fans of the BATF. Janet Reno had been on the job less than two weeks when this fiasco occured; she gets the blame, but what she was really guilty of was listening to the cowboy wing of the BATF who apparently thought they weren't getting enough air time of their own on the cop shows. The local sheriff said they could have picked Koresh up at the post office whenever they wanted; the BATF went in spoiling for a fight, and they found one.
