Spurs put 11 guys on the trading (transfer) block. All before the season starts. This can't be good for the team's psyche.

They need to cut roster size and have 3 or 4 players they really want. They need to unload those that they feel aren't going to work with Poch to get those they think will.

A CL spot isn't going to happen this year anyway. A 5th or 6th place finish is what I expect with a very good EL run.

You shouldn't need the league code, but just in case here it is: 523809-134433.

Borussia Dortmund won the German Supercup over Bayern today. We steal their 2 best players and still can't beat them. :ohno: :ohno:

Damn.

Tony Pulis... who did one of the best coaching jobs in the EPL last year... up and leaves Crystal Palace right before their first match because he couldn't get the funds for transfers he needed.

Pretty unbelievable. :?

I've been made aware of some reports claiming we are looking to sell half of our squad. Not only is this crazy for anyone to suggest but also particularly unhelpful to us just two days before the start of our season. We are fortunate to have a squad full of quality, as I have said on numerous occasions, and we are not expecting to see much movement before the end of the transfer window. We will loan out some of our younger players to help further their development. Several of our players are under 21 so we don’t envisage a problem meeting the Premier League’s squad limit of 25.

So apparently ManU can't play defense. They have dominated action but the 2 times that Swansea has made any real sort of move towards the goal they have had an open guy who put one buy De Gea. He maybe could have saved the second one but was caught going the wrong way and got his fingers on it to slow it down but it still went in.

2-1 Swansea with 11 + to go at Old Trafford.

ManU has a lot of people out injured... but, they certainly need to buy some defenders before deadline.

Just saw it. Should have been a penalty (which it was and missed) and yellow on him not a red.

Great 2 goals by Everton. Howard could do nothing on the goal against him. Bad defending by Everton there but they lead 2-1

Dog shit red card.

Been 10 on 10 since about the 60th minute... It's just counterattack after counterattack...

Spurs look solid on the attack but still too loose on defense.

I'll take a point today and be happy

So much youth on this team... Bentaleb is 19 and Dier is 20... both looked outstanding.

Now to figure out who will play RB if Naughton's red card isn't rescinded.

So what is a decent amount of points to get for a week for fantasy? Never played before this year.

It really can vary widely - a lot of times it depends on how the top 7 teams do. If they score a lot of points - the overall points for the week will be higher for just about everyone.

And, there are still 3 more games to play, so it's hard to gauge based on the average. It says the average for today was 22 points with the highest score 79. But, depending on how many players you have yet to play... you could be on the low side or high side.

Brilliant display by Newcastle United and Manchester City before their match today to honor the 2 Newcastle fans that were killed following the club on their preseason tour when flight 17 was shot down last month.

The club had the wife/mother of each walked onto the center circle and we're given a nice little ceremony.
