Is it the team whose best player got injured last night?

If only they had money to pay a pitching staff that could hold down a sub-4 ERA. :coffee:

Shit, Logan Morrison, who makes about 1/23 of what Mauer does, is in the middle of a 13 game HS. :coffee:

Is Logan Morrison the #1 selling player for Mariners gear? I would bet on King Felix who is making about $150,000 less than Mauer this year and more than him next year. And yes, I am sure the Twins would rather have Felix.

PS Morrison is making approx 1/13 as much as Mauer.

Doesn't seem to matter right now who the O's put on the field. They just keep winning. :notworthy:

Gawd it's fun being a baseball fan in New York right now. First the O's sweep the Yankee's (who they are 8-3 against this year), then the Nat's sweep the Met's (who they've beaten 11 times in a row up here in New York).

Still have 8 more games against the Mutts. Those games alone could sew up the East for the Nats. :thumb:

Don't look now, but the Ms are only 6 behind Oakland and 5.5 behind the Angels. AL West could very well grab both wildcard spots.

In Joe's last 14 games (10 mlb and 4 rehab) he is hitting .353

Someone is finally getting going. That damn oblique issue likely cost him another 300 plus season

O's, without Machado at 3rd, are now 8.5 games up on the 2nd place Yanks.
Nat's, who have won 8 in a row, are 6 games up on the 2nd place Braves.

Seriously, this is fucking awesome for me.

Hoping for a Nats/O's World Series with an O's championship so I can pretend to be a lifelong Orioles fan and give all these DC fucks a hard time.

For serious, I just ordered one of these. Never knew they made them in a low crown. I always hated the giant crown on the traditional hats. First order of business will be to bend that brim  : Image

Team with the best pitching usually wins. Mariners have the lowest team ERA since the 80s. Just give us the trophy, bitches. :coffee:

I certainly wouldn't want to be the wild card team that has to face them in a one-game playoff.
Sucks when you're in the same division as the Angels/Athletics, and you still wouldn't even be guaranteed to make the playoffs if the Tigers can recover a bit or if the Royals keep up their anal tear.

Troof. They have a couple series left against both Oakland and LA, along with a bunch of mediocre teams, so their fate is in their hands.
