He's busy devising his next plan for spin, deflection, change of conversation. Hopefully it's worth another 20 pages or so to match the epic beating he took in the Zimmy threads. 2 massive whiffs for him in these media induced "racially motivated" killings (you think he would have learned the first time  ).

There's only one reason to do this: to evade accountability for your actions.
Yes, only one reasonable reason...

Or, to protect your identity in order to protect your family from being attacked and threatened with death from the Black Panther Party after the media publishes your name and address.

So yeah, there's that little thing. :coffee:

I just flipped back and forth between Lawrence O'Donnell (MSNBC) and Lou Dobbs (Fox) talking about Fergusson, MO. Wow! the coverage couldn't be any different.

I am going to be watching to see if there are really any witnesses that corroborate the story that Brown charged the officer. Dobbs says there are a dozen and O'Donnell says there are none. However it goes will go a long way in swaying me as to how true what each network reports.

Do you deny that the media released the address of the officer? :suspicious:

The disconnect I haven't seen addressed yet is the Crenshaw video. The shooter doesn't look like he has any damage to his face. He had just been brutally assaulted and had a busted eye socket yet he managed to pursue the kid and shoot very accurately at a range that didn't leave any powder burns on the kid.

I'm sure Wilson is being treated in a hospital for a tummy ache and the broken eye socket is a made up story that racist white doctors made up.

Not sure what the "Crenshaw video" is. Link?
I saw one video of him pacing near the body. I was, somewhat, looking to see if he showed any actions as to being injured. The camera was way to far away to see any marks on his face, but I was looking for him to put his hand up to his face/eye or something. I didn't notice it the one time I watched it, but I'll have to watch it again closer.
But still, I'm not sold that any of that would matter. it would help, but it would not be the one piece of evidence needed. The hospital would have taken photos and xrays. THAT is what is more important.

This so called New Black Panther Party is nothing like the old heads. In fact, the old Panthers do not like these new guys. They do nothing but start shit. However, I want everyone to watch what comes out today. There are two more witnesses that will only come foward during the trial. This police department has to be investigation by the DOJ. Too many people saying the same thing. IMHO, they need to push back the Grand Jury anothet three weeks. Too many hans in the cookie jar, and something is going to get lost.

This is what really pisses me off about the case.

There are witnesses that are obviously saying different things.

It would be a totally different matter if the damn cop car had a dashcam with sound. :ohno:

There is a lot of attention on the "militarization" of our police departments.
I'm not sure what to think.
My kneejerk reaction is to think about the officers. I would like to see them protected as much as possible. Especially considering the fact that criminals are more heavily armed than ever before. People are offended by shields and helmets and vests? WTF? They are there because YOU are there, and they have no idea if or how YOU are going to snap.

I heard some criticism on the news about the camo uniforms. Maybe there is a case for them to wear the traditional blue or black instead. Not sure if that makes a difference so, meh. It would differentiate them from the National Guard, which would be considered a higher level of response though.

I do find it strange that tear gas canisters are deployed with a gun in some cases. Seems that throwing them would allow for an adjustment of speed that would be less confrontational.

Well, maybe we should try to do something about THAT, instead of slowly turning into a police state. :coffee:

Agreed. But I still think the conversation in this video is one of the best because it is raw and unrehearsed. It doesn't provide a ton of detail but it does provide some important information.

The fact is alot of law emforcement are former military, so they bring that attitude to the force. In some cases that is great. The learning curve is shorter;however, in many cases police need the public to solve many cases. Looking like the 82nd Airborne might not work in this case. In Atlanta, back in the 80's, they started a Drug taskforce called the Red Dawg unit. Most if not all were former U.S Army or Marines and they were kick azz unit. I mean, they looked like a SEAL Team 6. However, they were sued at least three times a year. in 2001 or 2002 they were disbanded, because the city could no longer afford the unit. I go back and forth with this topic. I know first hand that a S.W.A.T or S.R.T unit does the raids and high risk warrants. However,if you dont have a strong leader, your unit can become what you are trying to fight.

You could hear the guy in the first 10 seconds say "kilt him for no reason", then the same guy asks somebody "what happened?".

That's a learned response in certain cultures. It's always someone else's fault.

I doubt "he killed him for no reason" coming from a neighborhood that notoriously hates cops will be allowed/credible as testimony/evidence.
