I believe the recent autopsy results said that there was no gunpowder residue indicating a shot at close range. However, Johnson did say that Brown was shot in the arm during the initial struggle at the car and that he saw the blood. Isn't that close range?

Do you reject the effect of adrenaline??? I'm 6'4" myself, but if I saw a 300lb guy charging, after he had hit me...the go-juice would kick in big time and for a few moments the pain would be gone and my training would kick in..

Ya know, that's why they train...

Tell me how a 300 lb person can have so much trouble escaping from a person's grip in the situation as described (i.e. officer seated in car, reaching out with left hand (not sure if dominant hand or not), etc.). And while trying to escape, he turned to Johnson and told him to hold the cigars. Honestly, that sounds more like a person attacking the cop rather than a person trying to break free.
Don't get wild on me, my point is that he doesn't look like he just had a 300lb kid halfway in the car with him going for his gun, you'd think he'd bust a button or something, maybe he did, I don't know. As for being left-handed, IF he is then the story is certain bullshit since the eye he would have sighted with wasn't available because of his busted eye socket.

And tell me how the officer wasn't KOd by a blow that fractured his eye socket. I suspect we'll find the source of these x rays to be some right-wing wackjob like BDMBFK or Teabagged who got them from a textbook or something...

And the girlfriend story is more than a little weird, you know he was told to lay low and shut up. Maybe he figures the real story as he sees it isn't going to be told.....

UNBELIEVABLY IRRESPONSIBLE comments by a sitting governor to pre judge a case within his state.

MO Gov Jay Nixon:

"a vigorous prosecution must now be pursued...

..We have a responsibility to come together, and do everything we can to achieve justice for [Brown's] family."

"to achieve justice in the shooting death of Michael Brown must be carried out thoroughly, promptly, and correctly."

He did everything short of saying Wilson was guilty as charged. :ohno: How about shutting your pie hole governor regarding the legal aspects of the case until the legal process plays itself out? Nixon was even slammed by his own Lt Gov for his irresponsible comments.

"It’s really heartbreaking to see a man elected to an office that high in our state government, the chief executive of Missouri state government, come out with a statement like that that does prejudge the case. I've been asking for everyone to step back from a rush to judgement. It would be wrong for a prosecutor to say what the governor said here tonight and it’s wrong for the governor of Missouri to have said it"

Holy shit. Watching local news broadcast from Ferguson where the protestors were walking behind the reporter yelling "No Justice, No Peace" as they walked by. Then all of a sudden I see three or four white guys walking by chanting what I think was "SIU, SIU, SIU".

CAA Flagship wrote:I've seen several interviews of Dorian Johnson. I have to say that many of his accounts have been consistent from one interview to another. He has made a couple of unintended mistakes but I don't think they are of major concern.

But one thing I have been wondering is:

He said Wilson told them to "Get the fuck on the sidewalk" after having driven right up next to them. Then he pulled away, but then stopped and backed up rapidly and stopped on a diagonal where he essentially blocked the whole road. Apparently, this maneuver was such that he stopped mere inches from them, and he tried to open the door but it only opened an inch or so before hitting Brown and (to lesser extent) Johnson.

First, while possible, it seems to be a long shot that he could back up rapidly and stop that close to them. And the more likely possibility would be if he turned the wheel to the left (vs. the right) while backing up and stopping in a diagonal position. (I have not seen what direction he turned to get in that position.)

Second, what made Wilson stop and back up after initially pulling away? Several theories can be made here, but the most probable is that they made no effort to get out of the road. Maybe they yelled something as he pulled away. Maybe Wilson caught a glimpse of the cigars as he pulled away. I don't know. It will be interesting to find out.

But getting back to the first point, could it be that after backing up, Brown and Johnson approached the car, thus placing them so close?

Anyone have any thoughts here?
And now I have an answer. According to Johnson's attorney, Wilson backed up because Johnson and Brown said something while he pulled away. This pissed Wilson off so he stopped and backed up.

So we have a strong-armed robbery followed by complete lack of respect to a police officer. Scumbags. The both of them. :ohno: :ohno: :ohno:

There's no certainty of any of those details yet regarding the gunpowder. The initial autopsy findings have not been released and the autopsy findings which you are referring to, done by the family's coroner, concluded that they couldn't make a determination on the gunpowder because they didn't have access to all the materials.

You are correct. I realize that the results of the autopsy that were released are of little value. My point was that this is something to look for with the results of the detailed autopsy.

The forensic pathologist hired by the Brown family has no training:

http://www.stltoday.com/news/local/metr ... 6ea4d.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Parcells owns National Forensic Autopsy and Recovery Services. He says lawyers for the family of Michael Brown contacted him because of his expertise in gunshot wounds.

“I am a forensic pathologist assistant and medical investigator,” Parcells told FOX 4’s Shannon O’Brien.

However, that’s something of a dubious title according to forensic pathologist Dr. Erik Mitchell.

“That is a degree that does not exist in my knowledge, except in the mind of Shawn Parcells,” Dr. Mitchell said.

Dr. Mitchell takes issue with Parcells’ title.

“You cannot claim the title, because it is a formal, licensable position. You can assist somebody; in this way I can say, for instance, I have paid my taxes, so I am an assistant President of the United States,” Dr. Mitchell said.
and
Dr. Young responded with this statement:

“Shawn hung out at the Jackson County Medical Examiner’s office but was not trained by me.”…. “He has been representing himself in a way that is not appropriate by giving forensic pathology opinions when he is not qualified to do so.”

“He has none of the qualifications that are required. He has experience as a morgue technician, somebody who would move bodies around, clean up after an autopsy,” Dr. Mitchell said.

What? :? There is video evidence of a robbery and now we have Johnson's own admission that they said something to Wilson as he drove away. He can't lie about the robbery because of the video evidence. The only reason to lie about "saying something" is if they actually did something worse.
But "saying something" is good enough for me to classify them as scumbags.

Hey, I'm not saying that these are reasons to be killed. I'm just saying that these are reasons to not be upset if they are gone.

If you guys haven't figured out exactly what happened yet, down to the detailed nanosecond then maybe ya'll are doing it wrong.

They already have it figured out on AGS and it only took like 8 pages.
