They already have it figured out on AGS and it only took like 8 pages.

You are right. I haven't seen any significant changes yet. But that doesn't mean that his accounts are accurate.

Something set off Wilson. It has to come down to being attacked by Brown after he backed up. I still find it hard to believe that he could back up rapidly and stop on an angle, and be so close to them that he could not open the door beyond an inch or so. The only explanation, other than long odds, is that they approached the vehicle. And if so, what purpose would they have to approach the vehicle, considering they just said something negative to the officer as he drove off? Apologize profusely? I doubt it.

Wilson "reached out and grabbed him by the throat". Or was he fending him off?

How can a nearly 300lb guy not pull away from a one handed grab?

"Hold the cigarellos". That is not something that is said while trying to get away. Sounds more like a timeout in an attack.

Brown "raised his hands in the arr (air)". I'm curious as to how high (although I don't think that will matter in the long run).

I think Wilson is screwed. At this point, the only thing that he can salvage is a good reason for the first couple of shots. I think it will be hard to justify the rest of them, especially if the final shot was from 20+ feet away.

300lb raging turd running at you, coming back for more after attacking you and grabbing your gun...and you want to stop shooting exactly when? :suspicious:

It only takes a second or two to run that last 20 feet. If you misjudge, and stop firing, and he gets to you, you're probably dead and can say goodbye to your wife and family.

I don't need anyone. We are discussing the investigation and impending trial. The defense might need one though.

Again, I'm not on one side or the other. I would like to see the truth.
Brown and Johnson have proven to be scumbags. That will never change. That is their legacy.
The question is whether Wilson screwed up or not. To date, there has not been anything negatively reported about his past.

This...100%

A scumbag like Brown does not deserve to be gunned down simply because he's a scumbag...

Did he put his hands up and the cop crossed over into scumbag-land?
Did the scumbag robber move to the next level and threat hen the cops life forcing him to defend himself?

I don't know...and no one here knows...lots of opinions, but no definite knowledge "beyond a reasonable doubt"...

What are the reasons for excessive force by police? Probably because of crap like this.
The police chief of a small south Texas town was shot dead during a traffic stop on Saturday, a county sheriff said.

Michael Pimentel died of multiple gunshot wounds suffered in a confrontation with a motorist shortly before noon in Elmendorf, a rural community of about 1,500 people just southeast of San Antonio, said Bexar County Sheriff Susan Pamerleau.

“We don’t know exactly what ensued between the two individuals but it did result in the suspect firing a weapon that hit the chief several times,” Pamerleau said.

Pimentel was taken by air ambulance to a San Antonio hospital where he died a short time later, she said.

Joshua Manuel Lopez, 24, was taken into custody on charges of capital murder of a police officer, Pamerleau said. When Lopez was stopped, he was wanted on a misdemeanor warrant for graffiti, she said.

Graffiti. A non-violent crime. But clearly just the tip of the iceberg.

Family and friends recall a young man built like a lineman — 6-foot-3, nearly 300 pounds — with a gentle, joking manner. An aspiring rapper who dubbed himself "Big Mike." A fan of computer games, Lil Wayne, Drake, the movie, "Grown Ups 2" and the TV show "Family Guy." A kid who was good at fixing things. A struggling student who buckled down to finish his courses, don his green graduation gown with red sash and cross the stage in August to pick up his diploma.
