If this award doesn't go to one of the Hilliards, there's something wrong.
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

I was actually a little surprised to see that Foster won.. Edwards definitely deserved the award though.. guy's a game changer.

Edwards is only a soph, and he didn't play for most of the 1st half of the season. Plus, his supporting cast was far better than Foster's.
You want to talk about a game changer? Go look for a Jayson Foster highlight video. He single-handedly won 7 I-AA games this year. There wasn't a player on any leavel of college football this year who was more exciting and dangerous with the football in his hands.
