And the transfer day deadline fire sale for Tottenham has started (though I do supposed it is nearing mid-afternoon there).

-Holtby to Hamburg on season long lone with option to buy
-Naughting appears to be off to Swansea for good
-Zeki Fryers to Crystal Palace for good
-Sandro is rumored a couple places. THFC is asking 16 million pounds but it sounds like deal is close with QPRR
-Sandro is also rumored to Monaco as part of a deal that would bring Welbeck to Tottenham, Sandro to Monaco, and Falcao to ManU
-Aaron Lennon is free to leave - likely to Stoke City
-Townsend is said to not be on the block but apparently is going to get a £15 million bid from Southampton. Part of me wonders if that big of a bid from Southhampton is part of a deal to include either/both J-Rod and Schneiderlin

As far as players coming in

-Benjamin Stambouli is finalized for 6 million
-Jay Rod sounds likely to come in as part of the deal for Townsend...probably the only way we'd get rid of Townsend
-Matija Nastasic from Man City is rumored to be a target of Tottenham
-Welbeck wants to loan to Tottenham, and Tottenham want him. Sounds like it will get done

Sounds like you got your London-based teams mixed up

And Falcao to ManU....dammit. He's not what they really need (a defender or play-making middie) but he certainly helps

I got desperate and took the 4 point hit for an extra transfer.

Now?
Why didn't you wait until next week after the international break is over? One of your starters could get injured between now and then...

Same here. Starting to get better at knowing the players and how to do Fantasy soccer but not knowing that stuff when drafting really put me back at the start and made for a rough first 2 weeks. Hoping that I can keep improving and grab 2nd by the end since Skjelly has this won by a lot and is in the top 0.2% of all those who are playing fantasy.

Edit: Bandl because I am somewhat of an idiot is the answer but would have needed to do it next week because of somewhat incompetent picking before.

The problem is I had 4 that are/were out.

I didn't know if we got a transfer during the international break so I just bit the bullet.

I'm already in last place.

Well, some of those 4 could have been healed by next week....or one of your healthy starters could get hurt by next week...

DUMMY!

Based on the projections that were given none were expected back.

They also, like most of my team, weren't putting shit for points on the board.

I picked up Dier and Sigurðsson and swapped Howard for Guzan to get the money to do so.

I'm comfortable with the choice I made.

I am still learning so I have some questions on your picture with salaries.

I get the loan thing which happens often but doesn't ManU have to pay something for Falcao or do clubs just basically loan out players and pay their salary so the player gets experience for them in the future even though they get no monetary compensation in return currently?

Also, what's with Free and Trainee?

Free means the player's current contract was up, so the club he goes to doesn't have to pay a transfer fee in addition to their salary.

Got it. Those are transfer fee or acquisition amounts as opposed to annual salaries. That was my mistake. Thanks. Trainee I assume then means that the player was brought up through their program.

Bayern thrash Roma 7-1 in Rome. Scoreline looks familiar...

They are certainly the team to beat this year

What about Southampton? Doing quite well for a number of seasons for such a small club.

Took the 4 point hit to make the moves...since then I've moved from last place (by a large margin) to third place.
