This is from 08, so it doesn't really include the BTN, which is going from 25 mil per school to 45 mil per school in a year or two...

There is this from USA today...
http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/ ... /finances/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

School - Revenue - Expenses
Penn State $104,751,464 $110,737,200

YEAR TICKET SALES CONTRIBUTIONS RIGHTS / LICENSING STUDENT FEES SCHOOL FUNDS OTHER TOTAL REVENUES
2013 $33,395,879 $24,480,517 $35,866,438 $0 $0 $11,008,630 $104,751,464

YEAR COACHING / STAFF SCHOLARSHIPS BUILDINGS / GROUNDS OTHER TOTAL EXPENSES
2013 $35,182,761 $14,811,085 $18,754,712 $41,988,642 $110,737,200

What is "other"?
35 million in coaches? Really?
Shouldn't PSU be better at athletics with those kinds of coaching salaries?

Just 1 of the top 25 schools to be LOSING money

You're doing some really really really wrong for those numbers to be that way.

Really wrong.

Penn State is fucked up in more ways that harboring pedos the way it looks.

Maybe the $60M fine had something to do with that.

So....Penn State only spends 60 million a year on athletics?

Doesn't add up...

35 million in coaching
15 million in scholarhips
18 million in building/ground maintence
41 million in other

So, where does that 60 million dollar fine come into play?

Maybe it has something to do with PSU spending over 23 million more on coaches since 2005 (nearly 15 million since 2010), spending 6 million more on scholarships (with scholarship reductions for footbll even) since 2005, the other category was at 36 million before the sanctions kicked in...so...now whats' the excuse? Expenses have nearly doubled since 05...

So, what's the real excuse? Maybe PSU needs some new advisers, accountants, etc...
