Eastern runs another in for a 14-13 lead.
First one to 60 wins?

and? What is your point? Would you rather watch a 3-0 game or a game with lots and lots and lots, with extra on top, scoring?93henfan wrote:43 points scored just 15:06 into the game.

I'd like to see well rounded teams that can play defense.grizzaholic wrote:and? What is your point? Would you rather watch a 3-0 game or a game with lots and lots and lots, with extra on top, scoring?93henfan wrote:43 points scored just 15:06 into the game.

There's a prime example of an exciting offensive team with no defense that wasn't able to ever get past the quarterfinals because of no defense.CAA Flagship wrote:Like ODU93henfan wrote:

What a finish. EAGS WIN BABY!!!!

Re: #2 EWU at #14 MSU Game Thread
Kudos to a coach with the sack to go for two in regulation. Of course, his defense was likely the main consideration, but still, kudos.

I just wish he had the sack to let his buddy Graham (our DC) go. Our D has too much talent to play this poorly year in and year out.93henfan wrote:Kudos to a coach with the sack to go for two in regulation. Of course, his defense was likely the main consideration, but still, kudos.

Nice win Eagles!
Should cruise to the schedule until the Montana game. That game will be the toughest test until the playoffs.

Re: #2 EWU at #14 MSU Game Thread
Agreed. I don't see any D remaining on our schedule able to slow us (not that any thus far has) other than Montana, but including the Griz, I don't see any O capable of outscoring our offense. 11-1, #2 seed, calling it now.Gil Dobie wrote:Nice win Eagles!

Pretty good chance neither team loses again until then.Gil Dobie wrote:Nice win Eagles!

Our defense is a problem, but as I've said before, if Vernon Adams is on the field we're going to be in every game we play this season. Need to get some guys healty, though. Depth is concerning, and now we've even lost our PK.

If our O line gets its shit together over the next month or so, we're going to run roughshod over both of these "defenses".

Two things I took from watching this game...
1. Adams new nickname-"Money". Regardless of the score, if he is still in the game, you can bet on an EWU win.
2. Prukup reminded me of one Travis Lulay. To win in the Big Sky, it starts at QB and the Bobcats have replaced McGhee with a really good one.

Re: #2 EWU at #14 MSU Game Thread
That was definitely part of it, but I think the bigger consideration was that our kicker got injured earlier in the game, and we had our punter doing all the place kicking.93henfan wrote:Kudos to a coach with the sack to go for two in regulation. I knew at the beginning of the drive that we'd be going for two. That's just Baldwin's style.

We'll see. Based on what I've seen so far, I'm not sure the Griz will have enough O to keep up with either team.Grizalltheway wrote:If our O line gets its **** together over the next month or so, we're going to run roughshod over both of these "defenses".

We play defense. You really think either of these teams would have put up 50 on NDSU, or held them to 22?kalm wrote:Yep.EWURanger wrote: We'll see. Based on what I've seen so far, I'm not sure the Griz will have enough O to keep up with either team.
