Haha. Just looked and saw he did it right the first time around but now there are 24 more wins than losses meaning he needs to remove 12 wins and put 12 losses somewhere.CAA Flagship wrote:I'll just take a guess that there are too many wins listed and not enough losses.Chizzang wrote:AFC East........

There are only three 3-0 teams. I'd have to believe there aren't many years with so few unbeatens after week three. Anyone know where I can find that stat? (last year there were 7)
Which of the three are the biggest pretenders: Eagles, Bengals or Cardinals?

The Cards have it harder, being they are in the same division with the Niners and, more importantly, the Seahawks. They have the hardest road ahead of them.89Hen wrote:There are only three 3-0 teams. But with that said, I don't think any of those three are pretenders, all three of them are legitimately very good teams.

It'll be interesting to see how Chip bandages up the Eagles o-line.

I say at least two of them won't make the playoffs.

Huh? Which two? You think someone other than the Eagles will win the NFC East? And you think the Bengals won't make the playoffs?CAA Flagship wrote:Where is the "All of the Above" option?89Hen wrote:There are only three 3-0 teams. Odds are not in your favor. Something like 75% of the teams that start 3-0 make it.CAA Flagship wrote:Where is the "All of the Above" option?89Hen wrote:There are only three 3-0 teams. The Eagles and Bengals are almost locks for the playoffs at this point. For the cards, in the next 7 games if they can go 5-2, then they should be pretty safe in at least obtaining a wild card spot. Even 4-3 will likely work with how tumultuous the rest of the NFC is right now. The only problem they face is that their last 6 games are murderers' row.89Hen wrote:There are only three 3-0 teams. The Broncos showed your Seahawks that they were not afraid of them in that game. They played very physical on defense and said if we see you again in the SB we will exact payback!!!!!!Seahawks08 wrote:The Eagles and Bengals are almost locks for the playoffs at this point. 8 minutes left and the Eagles have yet to score a single point on offense. 12 yards rushing.

I can feel a Superbowl calibre team in San Francisco, but we haven't seen it yet.Grizalltheway wrote:8 minutes left and the Eagles have yet to score a single point on offense. 12 yards rushing.
Offense is sporadic at best, the defense dominates, then has insane lapses, and special teams nearly gave this game away. Most penalized team in football now, too.
If Bowman and Smith both return in top form, and Kaep and the O can actually get in rhythm, I think this could be the best team in football.
Until then, though...

The Eagles o-line is in shambles. 3rd and goal from a yard and a half away to win the game and Kelly passes twice.
If they can get it patched up they'll be fine.

Kelce is the biggest hole IMO. I never realized how good he was until they showed some of his work in the first couple weeks. I'm not sure I've ever seen a center pull and get downfield as much as he can.93henfan wrote:The Eagles o-line is in shambles. 3rd and goal from a yard and a half away to win the game and Kelly passes twice.

When he came off holding his belt in the Skins game, I immediately though "hernia".

I put that on Kelly - dumb, dumb calls.
Can Foles survive the beatings he is taking?
Who is the back up?

Re: **Official 2014 NFL Season Thread**
Foles isn't really "taking a beating" other than the cheap but legal hit in the Redskins game after an interception. The o-line had nothing to do with that.

Tonight will be the first time in over 40 years I will not be watching the Packers play the Vikings. Not that the NFL will miss my viewership, I'm just not going to waste my time supporting the hypocrisy of Roger Goodell and the NFL. 2 Great Baseball playoff games tonight.
